cmon riot... we talked about this last time. Even if it's 1 v 4 people let that last person have their 20% chance at the champion pick.

Why, though? It's like holding 4 other people hostage.

It's a lottery to see whose champ gets chosen.

Everyone's vote sould have an equal chance.

The group of 4 will still play their champ 80% of all the games. Meanwhile, as a solo player I do not want to be held hostage by premades.

Being a solo queue player doesn't give you special rights. When surrendering, it's a choice that has definite troll cases where premades can force a surrender in a winning competitive game, but in a game mode for fun, 4 people wanting to play one way and the 5th guy refusing to dodge so instead he makes someone else dodge / forces them to risk a 20% chance of playing a champion they're terrible at, is holding a game hostage.

And being a premade also does not give you special rights. When surrendering, it's a choice that has definite troll cases where 2 solo players refuse to surrender a clearly lost game, but in a game mode of fun, a person wanting to play one way and some premade of 4 refusing to play one way and flames the solo player forcing the solo player to dodge or play a champ that s/he will feed on is holding a game hostage.

Nope, majority rules in neutral cases. 4 man premades get as much right of way as 4 solo players wanting to play a specific way. The difference here is that the 4 man premade can agree on what they want before hand, but it's still 4 people who want one thing.

2 solo players or 4 premade players surrendering a winning game or refusing to surrender a losing game, both are troll cases so both are bad. The difference is that premade players can organize trolling, where everyone loses, while the 2 solo players are there by chance (and everyone still loses).

Because that'd be fair tbh, and imagine how it feels when you're the team carry and 2 people don't wanna surrender. 2 people are holding the team hostage then and no one every complains that you need a 4 out of 5 votes to surrender.

I hate it when a 3 premade choses Ivern and i have to deal with it... Why is this a thing?

they do?

yea in one for all if 3 people pick a champion it becomes 100% chance the other 2 pics won't matter.

Yeah, so just premade with two friends and agree on a pick between them...

When it's that obvious, I just wait for the counter to hit 1 and doge.

I don't mind. at least i can flame them for their garbage pick later on that i didn't want and they can't play :D

While that would be nice, majority rule is the way things go. It's not fair to the 4 either if you got your pick simply because of luck. Either way, someone is going to be unhappy. Might as well have it be the smaller group.

"majority rule is the way things go"

then explain to me why the game wont be over when 3 people are voting to surrender and 2 people are voting not to.

This game mode is supposed to be a fun game mode. Are we complaining about this too ?
