OK, I lied. But I literally only ever buy a pink ward when playing against a champ with an obnoxious invisibility ability like akali or vayne. Otherwise, I never buy them. I don't find them useful, no matter what position I am playing. I don't feel rewarded for using them, and they usually just get deleted soon after. Anyone else out there saying no to Pink Wards?
Deep Terror Nami5 votesIf your Pinks are just getting killed shortly after placing them, place them in a more defensive manner or simply offensively to clear wards away from an objective you're trying to contest (harder for the enemy to stop you taking Dragon when you kill their wards in the area).

In Mid, place your Pink in either of the river bushes, right next to your side's wall. You'll know for certain it's not warded by the enemy, making it easy for your Jungler to gank. If the enemy uses a ward in that same bush, clear it quickly. Now when they want to clear your Pink, they have to step into the bush, letting you surprise them from over the wall with CC and all your damage. 75g for 75% or more of your opponents HP deleted without an opportunity to trade back.

DarkRitual1 votesPink wards are useful when setting up a vision line when you are preparing for a major objective. Taking Elder Dragon or Baron without any sory of vision is usually a bad idea. Even if the ward dies, it's better than half your team dieing because you got jumped trying to take the objective.
