PBE mundo buffs seem overboard.

playing mundo post-titanic already feels powerful. Having an AA reset and a burst of 10% of your health covered mundos major weakness. whittling them down has always been easy... now he can finish them off too! (while being nearly unkillable)

if these buffs go through, you are going to bring him from a situationally stong pick to a freelo pick

17% of your total health+ 3X your attack damage (with 2 AA resets) is assassin level burst on one of the tankiest champs in the game ?!?!?!

Mundo has basically no CC or gap closer so he at least needs high damage to go with his tankiness. Many top laners, such as Gnar have both. The buffs will mostly help at lower ELOs where people don't understand how to kite or chain CC.

How did you came up with the "17% of your total health+ 3X your attack damage (with 2 AA resets)" ? he will only have 1 AA , the new one since he currently doesn't have any AA resets (Q is actually an animation cancel not a reset). It will work similar to Sejuani W to add a bit more damage so the carries won't ignore him after the initial Q.

titanic hydra is an AA reset... either you didn't read the thread you replied to or you need to brush up on your items.

if you are merely neglecting titanic assuming it is a situational item that mundo wont always build... you are wrong.

I am also confused on the damage values your claiming.

The tooltip you posted shows 5% of Mundos maximum health on a SINGULAR hit. Sure, he'll get a neat trick by using it as an AA reset, which is a fantastic buff, but I don't see how you got to 17%, care to elaborate?

again, you are ignoring titanic hydras damage.. 10% (+ reset) on activation and 1% on every other AA = 12% for 3. im not even factoring the base damages of titanics on hit or mundos missing health bonus damage here. id be willing to wager that he can straight up delete any squishy with less than 40% health post titanic

Ok... And how exactly an extra 5% Total HP damage is going to chance that? Even with the extra AA reset you still would die to mundo just 0.5 sec later (what takes to him to rewind the attack)

Rior sure made things wierd since garen was like a more stronger mundo

garens regen happens when he is out of combat... mundo can dive into fights with his active.... and warmogs can give him the regen out of combat. different champs... mundo shouldnt be as strong as garen.

But again, there was a lot of comparisons between the two. When garen had is life chipped off in a teamfight, he heads back in a bush and returns with a ton of health to return to the fight. Like the bush was like a damn pokemon centre

They are compared because people don't look at champions with context. They see they both have a sustain passive and automatically think they are the same exact champion. Garen doesn't regen a million health per second in combat, Mundo has R+Passive to sit there and continue taking damage, Mundo can also out damage Garen with absolutely no offensive items and Mundo gets tenacity in his kit while he has W on. Garen's passive also isn't usable in the jungle pre-11, it's also not usable at all vs ranged champions in lane unless you zone yourself as well. Mundo never has to worry about being hit or not and in lane gets to farm from ranged as well. Garen and Mundo have nothing in common.

These buffs help, but no they don't really cover his major weakness at all. It's like you don't even play him.

These buffs are intended to help Mundo stay relevant late game (compared to the likes of Darius/Garen) without buffing his tankiness.
