It was nice to be able to build it against a full AP Malphite/J4/other full damage off tank who presses R then Q E Hydra active and kills a squishy target before their body even hits the ground.

GA and BV seemed like relatively healthy items before the changes making GA AD focused and BV AP focused and I would buy them according to the situation.

Yes I am saying that with the changes to these 2 items you actually removed counterplay and build options.

Hourglass is AP exclusive.

We've already went over this. Why the fuck do we need to remove bruiser itemization for mages now?

and QSS is also AD exclusive, AD gets 2 exclusive life saving items why?

because every AP champion can buy Hourglass.

Meanwhile QSS is exclusive to ADCs (and technically assassins can buy it, but MercScem sucks for them)

Because GA is mostly built on bruisers.

mostly, not only, ADC's still build GA some of the time, as did AP until they reworked it into an AD only item for some unknown reason

Hardly. It had reasons to be bought. There was even a time where there would be 10 bought in an LCS game because avoiding the damage/CC of a single spell was too strong to pass on.

These were a couple changes I didn't really understand. I did not see a lot of people complaining over these.

Revert Abyssal Mask into Abyssal Scepter too. New banshee sucks even as a mid laner. I'd rather build it if it has tanky stats because then it's identity isn't confused and I can actually survive long enough after that use their most worthless ability to pop it.
