I agree with this post simply because the enchanter top strat was super weak early and both karma and zil aren't super hard to gank with most jgs. Yasuo is devastating at basically every point in the game. His lane phase is only weak to certain matchups and strong vs the vast majority, in fact most of the typical Yasuo counters are off meta because they cheese his wind wall early or have excessive lock down. Through mid game, having an aoe knock up every 8-9 secs (with minimal attack speed, literally) is an amazing tool, especially with the reach he has. Then throw in amazing mobility, his passive shield in conjunction with pd and defensive boots, and typical healing he gets from dblade+taste of blood+ravenous hunter and you have a surprisingly tanky fighter champion with some intense damage output at all points in the game. Some people would argue his damage isn't good until late, but most fights early game are decided by who gets the most aas and his q is an aa with bonus damage, a bit of reach, and can clip his auto... Oh and again, 12 sec cd knockup even at level 1. The issue is, Yasuo's overloaded kit gives him excessive outplay potential at all points in the game, even to someone who doesn't know how to play him effectively. I've watched total noob Yasuos stomp lanes and clearly have no idea what they're doing, but the community (or riot, I'm not sure) has this impression that he's hard to play. Yasuo is not hard to play, but he is hard to master. There's a clear difference between how Faker plays and how a random scrub plays him, but the random scrub is most likely playing vs other scrubs who know as much about him as they do. Last note, Yasuo has had an excessive ban rate basically since he was released. Many players will say the ban is unnecessary, but the real matter is that there's just so many matchups he hard counters pre 6 and beyond. I have a fair amount of games on him through my time with league, I've learned a lot of his tricks, but even when I outplay someone hard and roll them in lane, it doesn't feel like outplay. It just feels like they have literally no answer to my kit.
