Playing Ashe in SoloQueue?

Yes, I have mained Ashe since the end of season 3, and have enjoyed her from the time I began the level grind. However, I've bee having trouble playing her in this season, and would love some tips from players who can help.

What am I asking?

  1. How on earth do I play Ashe if I have a support who appears to have no concept of the role of support? I can NEVER do any good if my support has no clue about peeling or warding, or other basic skills. Not everyone is a support main, it happens. How do I deal with it?

  2. I've been confused about Ashe's play style...since she has no mobility, kiting used to be essential. But nowadays, with her Q buff and all, kiting can really dampen the damage. Should I fight or run?

  3. When their team has so many assassins, what's the appropriate build?

  4. Cull or Doran's Blade to help get to her mid game powerspike?

  5. What's the best way to get fed in lane...be aggressive with W by poking, maxing the Q and look for opportunities to go in?

Thank you so much for your help. This season, and last season there at the end, have really made me hate League. I'm trying to enjoy it again, but it is hard when Ashe is always under the meta.

  1. If your support is trash, you're probably going to lose lane, do your best to farm under tower so that your JG has the opportunity to help you out.

  2. As long as your positioned where peel is available fight, otherwise take no chances if you don't like where your standing. More shots you get in more Q's you can activate which pumps out a ton of damage. Side note, Runaan's Hurricane is great for applying Frost Shot to multiple targets, always get it after IE.

  3. Sterak's.

  4. Doran's every time, extra combat stats are a must these days.

  5. Always max W, followed by Q. R whenever you can.
