Im nervous about this. Kat was the champion that made me start maining middle lane. Are these nerfs or a complete rework?

Can somebody help explain them to me better please?

It's more in line with a rework.

She's losing upfront damage for what appears to be ungodly mobility (3 second cool down blink. That sets up Kat's combo. And puts you behind the target to negate skill shots. Wut).

W is getting a nice buff, since it will scale with Total AD at lvl 18 that means + 135dmg from your natural AD Q damage is higher by 25dmg and 0.1 ratio at lvl 5 if you proc the mark.

Maxing W first could be a good idea since its damage is now higher then Q without proccing the mark, so you can farm easier.

Also E will reset to 3s if you use it on a champ, meaning in lane you Q enemy, E on them, W maybe auto attack and E out to a creep.

It means her W scales with AD, so you can build some AD on her in order to make her W do damage.

And E does no damage of its own so you're supposed to auto-attack after E for your damage.

They're supposed to be a rework. They're really a nerf since it's not a simple matter of building AP anymore. It's still arguably better to just build AP with her, but that means less damage across the board now.
