Would Poppy's old passive be allowable on a Juggernaut?
Anybody here remember Poppy's pre-rework passive?
Valiant Fighter When Poppy takes non-turret damage higher than 10% current health, she reduces the excess amount by 50%.
Back then, when Poppy also had Diplomatic Immunity (and we all know how stupid that ult was), it was considered busted because it made Poppy obnoxiously hard to kill, while she also had the capability to do tons of unresistable damage (even if you built MR, she'd still clobber you). Add on that she had her dash to gap-close (and still has it) and it was simply too much.
But nowadays, with the greater abundance of true damage and defensive stats being so much weaker than offensive stats, I have to wonder if Poppy's old passive could be acceptable on an immobile juggernaut Champion. You'd have a juggernaut that's highly resistant to burst damage, but without Poppy's mobility or CC capabilities. Additionally, the passive wouldn't be too good against DoT effects like
and would not work against burst true damage like
, nor against executes like
.
And, of course, if the numbers above would be too strong, the values could always be adjusted.
Would those things be enough to curb the old Poppy passive, or would it still be too oppressive/obnoxious?
