Can we change Amumu's E?

Amumu is a great champ. I don't care what anyone says, his sad visage lights up my soul. I absolutely love playing him, but there is one thing bugging me. His E. Tantrum is a virtually useless ability and I upgrade it only if I can't upgrade anything else. I would like to remove it entirely and replace it with something that I will actually want to use, preferably something defensive.

To Riot: I'd appreciate if you'd give this some thought.

To everyone else: What are your thoughts?

Edit: I'd like to clarify that I have no idea how to jungle and don't use Amumu for that. I generally roam or go top lane, so that's about the limit to my expertise.

i'm like 90% certain it's the first thing you should be maxing because it does more dps than w when clearing, and upgrading q doesn't increase the stun duration

I upgrade q as quickly as possible in order to obtain maximum spamminess when chasing ppl down or dueling.

It makes his clear super smooth, early game he trades bulk for good damage with it.

As what people have said, you should max E for clearing. So usually, I max E if I'm going to farm more, or if I'm going to gank/duel more, I like maxing Q. That being said. It is insanely boring skill. He has 2 wave clear options. E and W. W is just a crappy version (before his curse debuff changes it had no real usage afaik beyond just blindly turning it on for clear). That being said I love amumu.

You don't like W? I max it as quickly as possible so I can stack additional dmg while autoing. Later, when I get Mikhael's Crucible, I pretty much turn it on permanently. Additionally, I've killed ppl with it who are chasing me. They gradually stack dmg and then I throw my q back and then it's an ez kill from there.

I get the first two you listed as well... The center of my build is generally Mikhael's Crucible, Sunfire Cape, and Abyssal Mask and then I'm adaptive from there, throwing in Rylais and Frozen Heart. I will say that I'm looking for Mana Regen, not more Mana

@dreamconsumerist W should ONLY be maxed if you are playing into tanks as it does % health damage. E is the best max overall for damage and when ganking you reset it extremely quickly off minion aggro.
