If you want to improve you need to first realise that if you can't climb out of bronze5 you are one of those disgustingly bad players, or at least bad.
now after accepting that and no, thats not me being a dick or being mean its just the truth you can start to improve.
some simple things to start-off.
- aim for 80-80 @ 10mins, then another 80-90 at 20mins so around 20mins you want around 160cs, give or take.
- champions dont count as CS, there a bonus. seriously if you enemy laner has 5/0/2 and you have 1/4/6 but are out farming by 70-100cs your actually ahead in most cases.
-Item Builds;
why build runaans on MF in a Lethality build? if your going Runaans your going a crit/AS build, if your building lethality (which right now is the strongest) go edge, dirk etc your going for a lethality build, dont mix and match.
for build order you really want to go Yommovmu's > Boots(swifties) > Edge > Dusk > Cleaver > Lord Doms/Mortal reminder.
- your averaging 8 deaths a game, this is on no one but yourself, especially on ADC watch your positioning
look at your stats: https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Epicomanage you should consider practicing say, ahri in normals, katarina at 4/7/11 is horrible you need to on kata snowball and run away with the game, your not doing that, I'm new to assassins and I'm in love with talon but look at my talon stats for example: https://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=GunsIinger there much better than your assassin picks, ahri is included in this as she is basically an assassin. I'm currently practicing him in normals but on my main role (ADC) you can see my jhin sitting at a 56% win rate, prior to throwing some games he was at 64% and will be back up there soon but compare the stats, I'm currently 5 leagues above you in S5 and the difference stat and control wise is evident, I'm not pro, not by a long shot and I'm not claiming to be, i was G4 last season though and still steadily climbing with Kindered (77% win rate - 62 played)
- I'm planning on plat 5 minimum this season if i can continue to improve but i have switched to the mid-lane, hence my recent iffy performance, my last game as talon if you look 13-5-12 i mad some huge mistakes resulting in my deaths so to me it was a bad game.
what i mean by learn when and when not to team fight is if your team is behind and you cannot seem to win a TF and / or you know you can't ask your team not to engage and go push a lane out, this is risky, especially on ADC but ward-up and ask your top laner to go split push top, this leaves 3 people in the mid to defend, we call this a 1-3-1 with TP up on your top laner it can turn into a 4v3 mid, seeking as 1 but probably 2 will be coming to stop you from pushing, if they dont you get a free tower or two.
- always go for objectives > kills as they are worth more and give incremental advantages.
- learn when you should and shouldn't be team fighting.
Objective control;
ok so for the most part this is kind-of the junglers job and calls to make, or should be but in bronze, honestly they probably dont know what the hell it is and especially what they are doing, so i wil explain it, I'm sorry if some of this is obvious to you, and its going to be long.
- Everyone who plays League of Legends knows that objective and objective control is what wins games. Now, if you find yourselves wondering what objectives are I'll take a moment to go over what objectives are in League of Legends. Objectives are anything that give you a spike in gold, that being everything from minion creeps to kills all the way to the nexus. Today I will be going over the various acceptable trading scenarios as well as when it is okay to make these trades.
An objective trade is simply when you get one objective while your enemy team is getting another. An example would be, you take mid turret while they are taking dragon, if that happens you are trading the dragon for a turret. Also, just for the sake of not being too over complicated, we will be sticking to the larger objective trades like a Dragon for a Kill or a baron for an Inhibitor. I will be going through a couple different objective trades only, these trades will be; Dragon trades, Turret trades, and Baron trades (things that will swing games, basically.)
To start it off, let's talking about the Dragon. Killing the dragon gives you a different tier buff for each time you kill the dragon in a single game. A lot of people are willing to trade a dragon for a turret in the earlier game, which really isn't that bad to do. The first dragon you kill will give you 6% more attack damage and ability power, trading that for the 125 global gold and 150 local gold that an outer turret gives is not that bad. You will end up getting more combat stats with that buff over the tower. The issue you run into is if you continue to trade turrets for dragons. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dragon do not give you any stats to help you in fights. If you kill 4 dragons but the enemy team is able to kill 4 turrets they will be getting at least a combined gold amount of 2,500 gold. With this gold lead, they should be able to fight you when you are trying to take the 5th dragon and take their first dragon, which will put you even further behind. After your first dragon, you should never be looking to trade dragons for anything more, only take dragon if it is a free dragon.
The next set of trades I would like to go over is Turret trades. What is a good turret for turret trade? Early game, top tier 1 turrets have the least affect on the game. There is no real objective on the top side of the map that losing that turret will expose until 22+ minutes into the game. If you trade your bot turret for a top turret early in the game, it is going to be harder for you to have dragon control. The most important lane to have a turret in though, is your mid lane. If you lose your mid lane in a trade for another turret you lose control of the middle of the map, meaning you lose control of part of your own jungle also. Once you get later into the game, the inner turrets and inhibitor turrets are all pretty crucial, with mid still being the top of the pyramid. Trading a bot for a top in this situation would not be bad, as long as no one dies in the exchange and you don't lose anything else.
Lastly we have the big daddy of objectives, Baron Nashor. Baron gives multiple buffs to you and also the minions surrounding you. With these buffs, it is very easy to take multiple towers or push in for the win. So the question is, do you ever give up Baron for anything? Most people would tell you no, but I am here to let you know it is okay to give up Baron if you are getting an inhibitor out of it. Now it isn't ideal, but if you get an inhibitor, even with Baron, they will have to pay attention to that lane pushing into them constantly. With a lack of attention, you can stall out the game and let your super minions do all the work for you!
Let's quickly recap what we went over today. Dragon number one for a tier 1 turret is an okay trade, but continual trades of Dragons for turrets will cause the enemy team to snowball out of control. Never trade early tier 1 turrets for a top tier 1 turret and never trade any turret for a matching mid turret. Lastly, trading a baron for an inhibitor is an okay trade if you have to make it. I hope my little (BIG) wall of text can help some.
TLDR: Practice, watch your VoDs, accept your not that good right now, practice some more, have fun do NOT get down.
- and i climbed from B5 > S5 in 12 days this season in flexQ, i have yet to start SoloQ as flexQ is basically my practice que right now.
