why do sometimes adcs have more gold than anyone on the team

even if they don't have the most kills and cs. I very very often notice this in pro play .mid lane and top lane or jungle are more fed and have as much cs if not more and the adc has more gold. I don't get it.

... is this a serious question? alright let's treat it as one.

Because most teams funnel the highest amount of gold unto ADCs in order for them to have a higher chance of carrying. This includes CS and kills, not to mention item 1083

Also turret gold

Could you give us a specific example? It could just be that you're missing something really important.

For example, if we rephrased this question for why Junglers can be leaps and bounds ahead of laners for gold while having the exact same cs, Jungle Monsters grant way more gold than Minions, making the interaction entirely normal. Different example for different champions of course, but again I stress that you may just be missing something.

ADC gets a tick to their cs as well as the support for relic shield procs that go to them.

They probably got shutdown gold and/or solo turret gold.
