10 bans in regular play coming soon

Players can choose not to ban a champion with the "No Ban" option. On top of that, players are able to ban the same champs resulting in duplicate bans. I waited so long for an official 10 ban system. However, Riot decides to implement a clustered system that prevents 10 bans from actually occurring. Instead of a consistent banning phase, it'll be a random set of banned champions in every game. From 0-10 bans. (Remember, players are able to pick the "No Ban" option.)

Who designed the new banning system?

People try so hard to defend the duplicate system. However, what people don't understand is that if bans are duplicated, players have wasted a ban. When a ban is wasted, another OVERPOWERED champion is available.

There are 136 champions in the game... I can prove it to you right here, right now.

Okay, there are so many overpowered champions in the game, that should be banned. Yet, Riot decides to not make the banning system an official 10 bans.

I can understand the new banning system if the BALANCE TEAM DID THEIR DAMN JOB and balanced the game! However, overpowered champs are still too strong and annoying to play against. So, an official 10 bans out of 136 champions is a fair compromise, Riot.

Each person on the team now has an opportunity to ban a champion they don't want to deal with. If you ban teemo and the enemy bans teemo guess what YOU STILL GOT WHAT YOU WANTED: you don't have to face teemo. I agree tho giving people a 'No ban' option is pretty stupid. Trolls will have fun with that. But Christ the things people complain about. The chances of 3+ bans on each team being the same are not that high and if two bans are the same that's still 8 champions banned. Two more than the current system.

If two people banned the Teemo, the ban was wasted. The ban could have been used on another champion. Two champions would have been banned instead of one.

Honestly bro you all are looking into it WAYYYYY to deep. the fact remains is this the ten ban system is there so everyone on the team has an opportunity to ban someone. "wasted" or not you don't have to deal with the champion you wanted to ban.. and if they brought the snake draft they use in pro play you'd still find something to complain about.

I wouldn't complain about the LCS style snake draft. With the snake draft, there is a total of 10 bans. There's no ban duplication. And there's strategy behind it.

lol you have more than one champ that you want banned, yet the current system you have a 2/5 chance of entering champ select in the top two without a ban.. this way you get a ban weather or not it is duplicated.. and honestly the most common number of duplicated bans I bet you will be 2 per game on average, so pretty much on average I'd say the new 10 ban system with be pretty much equal to what we have now anyway. And no, I could see people complain on the forums. "OMG the new snake draft takes way too long and and it's so stupid, FIX THIS RIOT!!!" lol don't tell me there aren't people who wouldn't. and they'd find even more to whine and complain about
