Is grouping a disease or something?

I have lost so many matches because people just REFUSE to group. What's the deal? Dragon open: jungler wants to clear a lane instead. Baron? People sit bot side. Towers / inhib? People want to 1v1 in the jungle. No matter how many times you ping or ask nicely, they just seemed to be zoned out in whatever little plan they have going on in their mind. Any better way to effectively get people together? Or do I just cross my fingers and hope my team meshes well?

I think you should just focus on your own Macro. When I think of grouping though, I only really group when I think my team is making a bad call so I just usually want to be there and make sure things go better than they would if i wasn't, if I'm the one grouping though. I make sure my lane is pushed and I'm only there to point guard, and help seige. But grouping in general I don't really like. Especially in lower Elo, where you can easily stall out, Scale, and outplay. Idk grouping is only for if you are ahead or behind I feel. Other than that it's all about the farm baby. And, making sure your teammakes don't get aced cus you wanted to make the right call and not contest that objective. but ya usually grouping I lean towards it more when behind. And, just try to help them out.
