Okay so I'm starting Evelynn

How the hell do you build her? It looks kinda like a Mordekaiser but with mana. Early AP for the clear speed. Then move onto AD then and some tank stats. Here is some example build I have thought of tell me how close I am.

As a main evelynn player I can sum up a few things about Eve:

There are 4 main builds:

Full AP Eve: very cheesy and needs to be overfed to work and a single malmortius destroy all your potential to 100-0. That's probably the worst build because it's too easily countered: too much risk for not much more reward.

You usually build this way: item 1402 item 3020 item 3100 item 3146 item 3089 item 3135

I wouldn't recommend this build for beginner because it's the hardest (but funniest though and it can sometimes be good against fed adc who needs to be OS or it rapes your team.

AP kite build: This build is very good against strong melee enemies that you can never get to auto attack range because they deal too much damage like Volibear, Riven, Udyr, Mundo etc... You also have a good peeling power for your carries thanks to your permaslow

Core items: item 1402 item 1001 item 3116 Situational offensive: item 3001 item 3151 item 3135 item 3157 (zhonya isn't very good but can sometimes be needed against burst enemies or for its stats) Situationnal Defensive: item 3742 item 3143

AP Melee Damage build: This build is probably the best to carry early/mid game with a decent damage output and great mobility, it fits well against teams who aren't too scary when you're getting close

Core: item 1402 item 3116 item 1001 item 3100 item 3742

Situational offensive: item 3156 item 3001 item 3135 item 3157 item 3146 Situational Defensive: item 3143

Tank Evelynn

Can both use item 1402 item 1400 , her role is more to engage and to stick to carries rather than bursting them down even if she has a great 1v1 potential once she has 3 items and still deal decent damage. This builds makes you really be able to have a great presence on map thanks to your tankiness making you less vulnerable during ganks and be able to dive easily.

Core: item 1001 item 3025

Situational offensive: item 3156 item 3116

Situational Defensive: item 3742 item 3143 item 3190

About boots: Most common boots are , idealy swiftness but you often need mercury/tabi because otherwise you are too squishy. You can also get or when you are ahead.

item 3115 isn't worth purchasing unless you're going Full AP and already have item 3100 , is way better and needs too much AP to deal decent on-hit damage. There isn't enough room in evelynn's build to build Full damage items so they need to be very effective if you get one, which isn't the case of item 3115 .

She can be built different ways, mostly AP tho, and no AD. It just depends on the other team comp really. I always go hybrid with her personally, that seems to be the best. Try to squeeze a zhonya's and abyssal in at some point.
