Now we are seeing 2 crucible comps to make sure that ADC doesnt die in LCS.

This current nerf cycle of ADC 3x pentas a game dominance is absolute ebola cancer antifun OP goodness all wrapped into 1.

Lets predict the future.

ADC: random ADC Support (bot): JANNA/MORG/karma/leona/lulu Support #2 (mid): Zilean/morg/azir/karma/kayle/lulu/ori Support #3 (JG): nunu/kayle/lee sin/j4 (note, these comps save j4/lee ults for peel) support #4 (top): karma/morg/zilean/j4/kayle/lulu

Will we ever see a 3 or maybe even a 4 ADC game? How will the pentas be distributed?

Highly Unlikely. If you focus solely on Protecting the ADC, you won't have any other damage or assassination threats. Which is the Very thing Protect the ADC comps where fighting against.

Support #3 (JG): nunu/kayle/lee sin/j4 (note, protect ADC comps dont usually engage, they save j4/lee ults for peel)

this is another reason why Protect the carry comps don't work. J4 and lee are being underutalized if they are using their abilities to set up kills. The ADC on the protect the ADC comp will get out scalled by the Feed the carry comp.

Lastly, having 4 tank/supports around the carry is near entirely team fight focus. If you completely focus team fight while neglecting pick potential. You leave youself vulnerable to split pushing.

Honestly, I'd love to see 4 protect 1 be a viable thing in League, so long as it's not the only strategy. One of the big things DotA has over LoL is that there are more different ways to build a team.

it comes down to winrates. If you have such high winrates on supports, you are gonna have early 5 man grouped pushes with 4 Supports and 1 ADC to hit towers.

The absolute joke about this whole thing is that riot is balancing around this and you are hearing the candid " i think riot is doing a great job" from LCS players while 99% of their player-base disagree and people actually watching the LCS see boring and uninteresting games.
