[Gameplay] Ranked System

Can we fix this chaotic Ranked system, especially in Low Elo? (we basically have two different systems, why not make the lower elo a bit more better). The first part is the real thing i want to fix. The second is a fantasy ^_^

  1. The important easy to fix thing:

First, no more losing LP if ally does not reconnect at start of match when they AFK. No more losing LP when the ADC, a Kalista that can't take any tips what so ever disconnects and rage quits before 10 minutes (around 5 minutes player disconnected). Can't we get reduced LP loss if an ally rage quits later on. Or lose less LP if you get a Grade or Score of S or A (c'mon, im really tired of being called incompetent while im S as mid or Supp XD even when i lost).

  1. What i wish Ranked can fix, but may just never happen and Elo Hell will forever torment poor souls:

And the matchmaking needs a complete rehaul, as well as what determines who gets into what division. I'm tired of being paired with people who are supposedly Silver, but play greedy, dont position well, waste all their abilities cc-ing the tank or support and can't offer peel to the carries (those are some Bronze plays, Silvers just love to throw, not lose the game before 10 minutes but only reason it drags out to 30 is because well... its Low Elo NA XD).

OR if im support they cannot target the enemy carries or get angry when i save my ult to peel ("why didn't you use it at start of fight?" well obviously so that their newbish jungler can jump my carry then i ult cc-ing all of them and we then win fight... and we do). Then if we lose a "team fight" which was more of a 1v5 that snowballs into a chain reaction that kills 1 or 2 more allies they have to look for a scapegoat, which is the supp (a role i main).

We need to fix this system. Have more factors. I noticed when i play mid, even when countered, i win lane. I have destroyed with Lux, Played well with Brand. Once went with Heim and did really well.

2b) Some Great Example of #LowEloPlays and #WaitWhat I get dragged down more by my allies in Ranked, than i do playing in Normals XD. Which is really sad. I can find more better players in Normal, many who are unranked, than i can in Ranked. Yes everyone in Ranked tries, but they "try" too hard they lose sight of what is truly important. And hence, they then tilt, rage, are simply not meant to be Silver (they might have gotten lucky i guess), or are not ready for Ranked. They tower dive 1v3, dont recall or retreat on time, they dont ward well or enough, give up too fast, are too negative, miss cs from poking too much instead of cs-ing, chase instead of destroying towers or getting cs, etc. I know a Bronze 5 that can cs pretty well, prioritizes towers, wards quite a bit as an ADC or Mid, and prioritizes dragons, even when losing lane (and reason player loses lane is b/c they suck at positioning, yet they, in my opinion, play better than many of the Silver players i get stuck with in Ranked XD, especially the ADCs).

I don't like being blamed by the ADC who insist on poking the enemy instead of getting cs, they say "why are you not poking with me" (when clearly once that Sivir or Graves gets close to running out of Mana they will pounce on him, which they do as soon as the enemy hits level 2 while my ADC and I are still level 1). Yet it's all my fault. How was this player, the Sivir, a Silver 4? How was i demoted from Silver 3 to Silver 4 because of him/her?

And who complains about not enough vision on the map when they refuse to ward or when they don't even upgrade trinkets? I have seen Mid and Top laners feed hard, but they refuse to play more passive or buy a pink ward (same people that just cannot for the life of them win lane even when they counter the enemy). That moment where you as a mid laner ward more than all others ^_^. That moment when you Jungle you ward more or as much as the supp (and you team still complain about lack of vision when top, mid, and adc dont ward well or at all). That moment that as ADC you rush Pink Ward on top of BF (and when i see someone other than me go ADC and buy a pink, i am super happy). That moment when you are the only person ever to consider buying the Orb and Spamming it (and I see more players in Normal get this as ADC, than i see in Ranked, how sad).

I love playing mid and getting the enemy Junlger to gank me, since it gets me fed. I ward pretty well, so it keeps me pretty safe and even gives me an advantage on somehow getting kills when out matched or outnumbered. For someone who is not mechanically gifted to ever make it past Gold 2 (i know i deserve Gold 4 or Gold 5 at least), i still somehow do very well because i ward, im not greedy, and i don't take unneeded risk.

ok cool. Im down to see how it goes. Im not mechanically gifted, like i mentioned, but i know enough to not deserve so many loses XD.

you must first realize you are bad. then you can improve.

No duh. Which i know. But im not as bad as the players i get stuck with. I mention this, im not mechanically superior than many of my opponents, but im still an overall better player. Just how like those that are good enough to make it to challenger are not always the best mechanically, they simply make great choices and are thinking ahead. I try to adapt some of that in my playstyle. Take no uneeded risk, play smart, cs is imperative, towers are better than kills, and dragons and Barons must be warded and when the opportunity presents itself, take initiative and get it. Yet the people i get stuck with don't see it like that. They only care about their K/D nothing else, even when it hurts the team more.

I know i suck, but no where near as much as the people i play with. I try to improve, i look at my mistakes and try to fix them. Others in game, not so much, and because they think they are better than me to ever even consider my input (whether it be advice or the perfect shotcall, they wont listen even when i am not condescending like them).

  1. It is true afks need to be handle better but try thinking of a way to do it where it can't be abused, good luck. And the champ rank system should never be a factor because that will promote greedy play and less teamwork.

  2. There is no Elo hell. Only players who need an excuse why they are low Elo say this. You will find trolls, afks, feeders, toxic players, etc.. At every single Elo. It is your skill and your skill alone that has you trapped in silver.

"But I'm support how can I carry" I'm a support main that went b2-p5 in one season by literally outputting more damage than my mid lane. There is a reason why players in higher Elo can create smurfs and carry silvers with ease, my smurf is s1 with 13 games played.

Tldr: your silver because that is your skill level. If you could play at a higher skill cap then you would already be there. Look at your own play.

There is an Elo Hell. I can get fed, push down 4 towers basically by my self, i know when to Baron (yet no one helps, they are too busy throwing).

I know im better than the people i play, otherwise, even when im countered i still win lane. I seem to be the only one to shutdown enemy priorities when im support. There is an Elo Hell, you are just lucky you get good allies. The only time i got paired with Gold players was when i was doing provisionals, and i learned from them pretty well, since then nothing but Bronze and supposed Silver players.

Silver is quite hard, you got super lucky. There is so much inconsistencies. I hate having to build AP Soraka to do better than my mid lane. I'd prefer mid if i feel they will be bad, which when i do go mid i do great. Yet i still lose. I ping retreat, i give tipes (all go unheeded), and i know when to push lanes or move between lanes when sieging. And when they do listen, it actually works and we win. But most of the time they call me a bronze, they tilt, and throw and then we lost or drag the game out (which usually means we lose). They cannot take initiative and cannot maintain the lead. Compared to most people i played with (save for those few Gold's i got paired with), i have done much better than them and i know how to push a lead. But then they have to go 1v4 or 1v5 and get shutdown or force others to "go in for the kill" only so thagt the other 3 enemy members can kill them.

Im Silver because of how inconsistent my allies are. Gold isonly "good" nothing more, i know i can do well there. But my very, very bad allies, AFK-ers, and Tilters ruin it. Skill has little to do with the Ranked in Silver. Silver is literally broken. So many people who should be Bronze, while there are still few of those that deserve Gold, but cannot get out (mechanically well, just not the best strategist). I am not mechanically great, but still well enough for Gold due to how i think or plan.
