"No Such Thing As Elo Hell"

GenghisEmo··11 votes·1,864 views

Please. No amount of hard carrying can save you from your allies throwing.

A Jungle that allows enemies to just do as they please to towers while too busy chasing a kill.

A Support that over extends.

ADC was countered, so i forgive them, played relatively well when behind.

A Top laner that did relatively well, but the chasing and greed was too real.

While im mid, getting camped, and still got fed as fuck.

Died the least number of times on team. Best positioning and prioritizing.

Still lost.

Elo Hell Real.

That's one game. There is an equal chance of being bad players on either team. Therefore, the only way elo hell can exist is if having you on either team makes that team have a lower or equal chance of winning, and thus, it is not elo hell as that means you are either bellow your elo or deserve to be there. You pretty much deserve to be bronze

I have some horrible luck. Some of the worst, worst players. Had my luck been better, then yes, chances would be even, but things as they are now just are not showing that.

Try to shotcall, no one ever listens. They are too busy playing Call of Duty instead of LoL.

And since i play Supp, a role others dont like to play, or can barely play right, i have to see so many issues.

Even when i play good, they just blame me.

So the issue is not really me, it is others. Those in "carry" roles. If i jump in, allies cant position and get picked off. If i peel right, they cant prioritize and then get picked off. And same issues occur with enemy team, but allies that dont know how to counter play or build right are the issue.

Im tired of people choosing Lee Sin, Yasuo, Ezreal. Because all allies using them suck. While the enemy are smarter and go with something more simple and busted. Something low elo players cant learn to play against, like Yi. The times a Yi is on my team, then it is all good. Then i dont complain, guy is playing to his strengths and abusing a low skill champ that enemy cnat deal with.

When i see the enemy choose Lee, im so happy, i win Jungle even when he counters me. I peel well, and punish hard. Then we win.

But if the enemy uses a Yi, while my ally is the Lee, then its pretty much going ot be a loss for my team. I advise them, they ignore me XD. Low Elo.

If i deserve Bronze, then every Gold i have beaten, even while countered, deserves something like Tin 5 or Dirt 5 XD. Ad if these are Gods that have been on the climb, then everyone they beat deserve something worse.

I guess you are just one of the unluckiest people to play league. I got bronze 3 out of placements and I'm now silver 3 with 96lp and I'm 47-26 overall. It's because Ive improved from my first real season (season5) You sound like you're much better than me at this game, I never get asked for advice from diamond players. You don't want advice you want to complain and blame your team. When you improve enough to climb, learn how to win games, press advantages, and then you'll climb.

Best of luck, I hope your climb gets easier.

GenghisEmo1 votes

Im getting to the point i cant learn as much anymore. I know how to deal with Satan (Teemo) and get fed real fast off of him (while other players just cant XD).

I can know counter play a Fed Sated Yi. Same with Xin. I can shutdown most enemy carries (and somehow they still get fed again?).

I prioritize objectives well, and know when to baron. And in low elo, usually after you kill two enemies, one being their jg. Or you kill 3 (and it is ok if you didnt kill enemy jg).

Dont choose high skill cap champs, use something low skill or in-between (something skill based, but not as much as Zed for example). I hate when allies still try to go Yasuo... only to feed the enemy Yi in top lane or mid XD.

Dont Blue Ez. Item knowledge is better than most in my elo, but i dont trust my self mechanically nor item knowledge wise to use Blue Ez effectively... maybe dont use Ez period.

If countered, who cares. Freeze lane. and Punish out of positions. Get fed like that.

Enemy Jg got invaded, push lane hell of hard, then go to help. You are the one invaded when you jg, kite the bastard if ranged, or run like hell if not, guide them to allies. Unless it is a Lee, then just run, and deny you death... Then bide your time, and most Lee Sin players in low elo fall off since they are NOT mechanically good. Those that are mechanically good, usually cannot prioritize objectives.

While Yi, Udyr, etc, the OP and or busted sated ones, you keep range and try to kite if you out range them, if you lack hardcore range, then re position well to kill them or force them back. As a supp, you save your cc, until they jump and then all in (this people tend to not do in low elo, they are too busy being inpatient).

So by this point it is too hard in this current elo to learn more.

Yet when i get my ass handed to me by a Plat, or High Gold, i learn so freaking much. "Do this" and "dont to that".

Miraweave2 votes

No, it isn't.

GenghisEmo2 votes

it does. I always win Mid lane. And still lose. Why? Bot Feeds. I go and shutdown enemy carry, what do they do, over extend, over stay, and get picked off. Then i lose.

It is SOOOOO EASY right now in this elo im in. Yet these newbs throw? Elo Hell is real.

weeaboomer2 votes

So, you're back to bronze. You can't leave bronze. Last season you were silver. But now you're stuck in bronze? You're in your correct league then.

GenghisEmo1 votes

Nope. If i can beat a Gold while they counter me with their main... i dont deserve Bronze. Instead the lucky kid who got Gold deserves the demotion.

From your posts I can make a conlucion that you you're much better then an average person in your division mechanicaly, but your game knowledge sucks.

I had the same problem as you did, realized a few things and made from silver to plat in 25 games. ^^But I'm still bad cause my game knowledge isn't that good to climb fast enought, even if I'm able to lane against diamond-master tier players.

Share this knowledge so that we can climb too?

Also, EU is likely diff from NA. In the US, we don't have intelligence, we have dumb people, average people, and geniuses who get straight up ignored because OH MY GOD LOOK WHAT KIM K DID THIS TIME. I am in the second category.

Alright, thank you. I've made numerous ELO hell posts, get people who say the same exact thing as you, then refuse to share their great and wonderful wisdom. It gets annoying after a while, tbh.

But seriously, thank you for actually, legitimately, sharing the knowledge, assuming you do. I REALLY appreciate it! <3

I'm going to make an example while looking at your match history.

As support

Must:

Relax while playing Have a fun, but also try your best Mute negative players and don't respond to them Do not blame your team, it lowers theyr morale, you might kick them out of good mood and make them feel bad. IT would lead to worse decisions making and overall game play.

BARON AND INHIBITORS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

As morgana:

  1. Always get a sightstone.
  2. Know where enemie jungler started, what jungle patch is he doing, to know where he is to avoid ganks. If you know where he is you should comunicate with your own jungler, to set a counter gank (if you know hes coming) or invade hes jungle or start playing safer until, you're sure hes gone.
  3. Look at the map every 3 seconds, ping and write in the chat then you know enemie jungler is going to gank someone or where is he.
  4. Look at your opponents, try to predict theyr movements and abilitys theyr going to use.
  5. After boots and sightstone buy zhonyas and other ap items. I don't reccomend buying aegis or frozen heart if noit's not neccesary. In high elo, if you're an average morgana player, such defensive items are must.
  6. Try to leave kills for your adc, if you think he can cary you. Edited: if enemie has riven, irelia, rengar etc. Try to peel for your adc, it means, that you should keep your spells until they jump on your adc, instead of engaging.
  7. If you're better then your opponents, most of the time you should win your lane, rotate mid and group as soon as possible, so your team wouldn't have enought time to feed enemies.
  8. The most important thing is towers. Lets you can't win tf, whole enemie team grouped bot and you're mid on the other side of the map as udyr. Your team is crying for help, but you know you won't be able to help them or you won't come in time. Push mid and keep taking towers until enemie will fall back. Sometimes you can even take an inhibitor (bronze-silver has no map awarness), before doing so, you should tell them to not fight and def, so you could take multiple towers. (I gave this as an example, to give you some clue)
  9. Lets say enemie adc and supp is bot lane, your whole team is top and mid. Type in chat and ping to make them start baron. Say like - "Hey, vayne is bot, baron is free, lets do it so we could win faster." ^^
  10. You make a trap for enemie. Pretend that you're going to do baron, sweep nearest bushes you're hiding near, wait and kill enemie then they come. Also, you should type this in chat.
  11. Try not to leave your adc alone if you know that hes going to die, if hes not a trash. I mean, if he can do something at least and is not 0/15
  12. If you killed whole enemie team or some of them, you should do baron, instead of taking one tower. If your team sucks, but set they're ahead, becouse of you or enemie have an advantage late game, you should do baron as fast as possible, take down towers - inhibitors and end the game. Becouse you're most like won't be able to 1vs5 late game then everyone has full builds.

Edited: you should deal with some games, you can't win them all, even in bronze, if you're not playing like plat-diamond at least.

Any questions? I might not have writen everything, cause it's not that easy to remeber all things at once.

If you're looking at my ranked morg loss, that was as mid lane morg, not support. I always rush sightstone immediately after my tier 2 supp item (the extra gold income is better than the vision, espec cuz the overall delay is less and trinkets are enough until I can get it)

As for the other points...

  1. I do this if I remember, it's one of the things I'm working on. Figuring out where the enemy jg started and being like "he'll likely gank INSERT LANE HERE at about X minutes in" in chat

  2. Typically do this. I actually, at one point, ran clairvoyance smite evelynn and stopped every single one of the enemy lee sin's ganks with my clairvoyance. He tilted and dced. Was p hilarious how predictable he got when I paid attention.

  3. I definitely do this. I understand pressure and apply when necessary. A blitz, by default, has more pressure than me (except in certain cases) and I should not go aggressive. I understand the aggression positioning and know how to use it properly.

  4. This is a pretty obvious thing, minus the "building tank even if you're morgana" part. I know Zhos is core on her. (I don't play her much, so I'm going to switch to Zyra as my point of reference) but I typically, after my first 3 cores, rush a Rylais for extra utility and peel (it ends up helping a lot more than it gets credit for and is definitely worth a rush in a lot of situations). Other than that, if I'm ahead and so is my ADC, I can go Liandry's or Rabas (Lian for killing tanks, Rabas for more AP, however I typically prefer Abyssal or Void > Rabas on her)

If you could give me tips on situations to, on an AP support, when to build more tanky items, I'd appreciate it.

  1. Definitely. However, I also always go for kills, but if I'm 100% sure my ADC gets it, I leave it unless it's accidental. If there's doubt, I typically secure it. It's better that a supp gets a kill than no one.

  2. This is the one thing I don't do, this far down the list. I've been working on the decision making process behind this, though.

  3. When playing a carry role, I do this, but typically as a supp (unless it's morg or zyra or someone who is a mage but going support) I can't clear fast enough to make this worthwhile to do and I'm better off defending with them in a lot of cases.

  4. I tend to avoid Baron like the plague at my current ELO, too risky, but I definitely do this with dragon and towers. I've grown used to shot calling, however, you always have that guy who is like "but wait, RAPTORS".

  5. I definitely need to start doing this. I do it rarely, I got REALLY good at doing this when I was on a Cass spree, but stopped after I stopped playing her.

  6. I typically try to be butt-buddies with my ADC unless he's an idiot. In which case, I stop supporting him after lane phase and I'm the mid laner's butt-buddy.

  7. So, what you're saying is, Baron > Turrets, even inhib turrets? I can see this in a lot of cases, but most Baron calls I see in Silver are garbage and result in throws, so, like I said before, I avoid Baron like the plague as of right now. I should probs start getting more comfortable with it, though.

EDIT: League boards fucked up the numbers... It's 2-5 then 6-12.

If you can keep your laners safe without a sightsone, you should definetely rush frost quin. ^^ You can get out of bronze-silver with low-decent mechanics and get like diamond with only good - perfect decitions making.

If enemie has no flash, don't even ty to take the kills if theyre not faster.

You need to make risky plays and it's ok to lose more games, as I see you have no clue when to do certain things. Just do it then you aren't sure about it, so you could understund why it was a bad idea to do it if you fucked up.

Also, after every death think what wrong you've done and try avoid dieing if it's not worth. Also after your team gets aced or your cary killed think what you could have done differnetly, instead of what wrong you've did.

Yeah, sometimes it's better to take baron then inhibitor. Like for example, if you can take inhibitor after the baron, you should definetely stick with it.

Edited You will need noticably more games to climb from bronze by playing support mostly.

Fanny Forecast1 votes

With the first tip, I usually go sightstone earlier so I can keep dragon AND my lane warded, because without it, one will go unwarded and leave it open. This probably doesn't matter as much in lower ELOs, espec with the lack of map awareness from others, I just would rather keep that habit than to remake it when I do get higher.

Second tip is p obvi, I only take kills if I'm pretty iffy if my adc will secure it. If it's a slight iffy-ness, I leave it for them and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I do make iffy plays, I just know how to get out of them too. (espec cuz I play Janna and Zyra as my mains. #PeelCity)

I try to do this, but I get caught up in the heat of the moment sometimes.

And Ye, like I said to someone else's comment, I need to get over my baron-phobia.

Np. One the most important thing, wich cost me to lose more then half of your games.

Your team is 15/0. Don't chase for kills, take towers, get the baron and end the game. I wasn't doing this, becouse I wanted to have some fun or I just thought that it's still over and whatever, but I lost a lot until I realized.

Edited: you probably can't even imagine how many games I won becouse of baron. Even if you're behind, if enemie isn't smart enought, you could still try doing sneaky baron if you know that nothing else will help.

Edited: don't be scared to lose, take game easy, imagine that lose means nothing to you. It will help you improve much faster, I promise. You must try things you are not sure about.

get over baron phobia, if the enemy is down their smite, its basically guaranteed secure if ur jgl has smite.

baron has the power to win games, that are otherwise lost, what can it do when you're ahead.

as a support main, i keep baron pinked from 19 mins and first chance we have legit baron attempt i spam ping it.

"ie dead enemy jgl and mid is free baron"

Fanny Forecast1 votes

This is one of the things I do need to do, I just have had bad luck with barons being called by others and I did develop "baron phobia" from that. I defo know when to do it, I just still am scared of throws thru it.

GenghisEmo1 votes

Sounds like you are worse off than me XD since you sound a bit indecisive on some stuff. Rush Frost Queens while positioning in such a way if you get ganked you have time to react. Instead of closer to river, get closer to a bush. Then get Sight as second. If you are ahead stay about halfway through river, unless you get camped then make ADC, or as an ADC, fall back, allow lane to be pushed, and freeze it, last hit only. This teaaches you to cs well, and you are less likely to be killed off.

I Avoid baron, unless it is Completely Free. And the issue... Silver still throws once they have secured Baron XD.

A free baron is a free baron. A free Tower is a Free tower. After free tower, you free drag. If the enemy has no flash, is out of position, punish them. Hence i get fed as fu.

Once you have baron, push every lane. And trade or swap. Then push another, etc. If all are top, bush bot. Allies dont get this most of the time, but see if you can use their newb plays to your advantage (still you could lose), but you could make it worth, which i do, only for them to throw some more even when to drag, baron, tower is involved.

Spicy Rice1 votes

Ive beateb my friend jn master before in a 1v1. Doesnt mean shit thdugh, because he is still better than me

GenghisEmo1 votes

Well it does. If you are against a "Mid" Main and you beat them, something is wrong. Then you beat the next dude, another "mid" player while you are countered, then there is a pattern. You are better than or as good as foes you are facing.

If you guide your enemy into a choke point with Jedi-mind trick like positioning and behaviour, and then your allied Jg ganks and poor Gold is dead, then you have outplayed strategically, you have reinforced the pattern that something is wrong with Ranked, and something is great about you.

If you are a supp, and have a Bronze or Silver ADC, and you punish the enemy ADC so bad that your ADC gets kills on a Gold, you notice the pattern of punishing a Gold. Then you proceed to leave lane with ADC, but ADC decides to go for Krugs or Gromp and lets tower go down, then we see why your ADC is lower elo, while the other guy isnt... if you go ADC, then you realize that you may not CS as well, but you can freeze lane, in order to maintain a close cs with foe as you force him to possibly miss a few cs in the fear he/she could be ganked at any time, which demonstrates knowledge and know-how, which means you are also likely to be as skill overall against a person of higher Rank.

Means that unlike most Silvers, you are consistent. And the main difference between Silver and Gold is consistency, or in other words, consistently NOT throwing. And if you can position well, make a minor mistake but turn the tables on them for making a bigger mistake, then you deserve to be placed higher. And it looks like i have consistently done this. I use to really suck, like really, really suck, but now i have the knowledge and mechanical awareness to know my strengths and limitations, as well as, the limits or power spikes of the champ i am using.

Then you roam to bot and kill enemie, you have to take down the tower and ping to your team to fall back. Then say in all chat for everyone to group if u dont want them to feed...

They wont listen. I say "get tower then drag" they go drag then enemy back to lane and cant take tower... XD.

When they do listen, we win. Most of the time "you suck newb" while im 10/0/10 (the assist were kills i gave to them, since they were so far behind ^_^).

Gonna happen in some games that people won't listen. You should try fallowing them or do other stuff.

If you're playing well and you're not negative people will fallow you most of the time. I remember then I was in bronze-silver, it itsn't that bad. I mean, players are horrible, but more then half of the time they will listen to you. ^^

they dont listen. they think they can carry when 0/5 and down 50 cs. Then they chase. You tell them go for towers, they go for kills.

You say "dont baron" they still do. They dont understand pressure, lead pushing, objective prioritization, cs leads, or exp/lv leads.

The just do as they please.

However, when they do listen that 1/5 game, games end fast. Or you out-scale when behind.

You're talking like you would been playing with people from mars... I was in silver 4 for 1 year and theres no much difference between bronze. I had even a smurf recently, I coul win games easy even without comunication , but with chat it was easer to make calls for baron etc...

In bronze, don't expect people to listen t you when to split where, etch. You should only tell them when to group or do baron.

If you think, that you're already doing all the things I said for the other guy - you're pathetic and you don't deserve any help.

GenghisEmo1 votes

Your pathetic cause ur just lucky.

I can be nice, communicate well, adapt my build, shutdown foes, get towers, etc, yet i lose. How do i lose? Allies that throw. Kill enemy Jungler, time to Baron, they go after kills and NA tower dive to get killed.

I know smurfs that cant get out of Silver XD. No b/c they are bad (they win like 10 times in a row, and lose once against other Plat and Diamond players, yet get fed and somehow still lose in Silver? There is an obvious pattern that people throw hard and dont know how to do much right so much so an easy win turns into a dragged out fight.

But when there are allies that know when to back off, things gets so freaking easy. An ally that knows how to look at the map, says "i cant win this fight, im going towards my ally" and i hide in bush and bad "Triple Kill" and then game is won. But many times allies just run away from me, die, and say "why didnt you help?" when I was obviously trying, but player has no strategic depth or map awareness. This is quite a common occurrence.

Even when i duo with someone else, there is always that other duo that sucks. Me and my friend can carry, but the other allies do more to hinder us than hinder the enemy team's chances to win. We have a lead, they give enemy hope by feeding, only for me to work harder, crush the enemies hopes and dreams and force them to surrender after they lost a teamfight while they outnumber us.

Yet the next game goes well for me, allies still feed, i push lead, and enemy somehow gets back into the game, not b/c they played strategically better, but b/c allies just could not do the simplest thing right. And i lose.

There are few consistent players in Silver. Those that are consistent are smurfs, or are the unlucky guys that cant climb out.

I've been called "smurf" yet i have no smurf account. Been called a hacker or scripter (by Bronze through Gold). A Shitbucket, or in others words a no life, yet i dont really play that much XD. So i know im outplaying mechanically and strategically on my own.

You need to accept that you don't know how to cary noobs or keep pointless complains about them, never climb, quit ranked or quit this game at all.

Any other person would be mad in my place. And yes I'm mad, but I still want to help and prove to you that it's not becouse of the other players. On my smurf, I didn't care what lane I had, I've always have taken champion swith a lot of dps. Every game I was like 20/0 even then my all team was like 0/5 I was able to win without effort. In case like this I would have avoided team fighting, I knew when should I split, I would have taken inhibitor, killed a few of them in the jungle, took the baron and won the game... As support I would have picked morgana or blitz, I didn't missed single q on both, becouse people suck there. I would roam mid or top everytime we killed bot and group early. At the end of the game I would have like 9/1

Theres no luck while climbing from bronze, then you win 30 games and lose only one. My friend is gold and got out of bronze within few games eather. I don't have any friends who are higher then bronze and struggled climbing in case they were placed threre in the new season or created a smurf. And yes I saw players, who didn't diserved bronze/silver, some of them would even been able to play against diamonds in lane, but they didn't had knowledge in certain things, wich would helped wining.

Then I was silver/bronze I was thinking like you, I had not that big, but nice scores in all games and people would say that I don't belong to there, I thought the same and found out about elo hell on the internet, I stopped playing ranked and after about 9 months I tried agen with a new mind set and I succeded.

https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/3k0p4v/rush_finally_reached_master_tier_with_a_97_win/

The guy reached challenger with 97 % win rate and probably had 100% win rate til diamond on hes smurf.

Edited: things you mentioned aren't important in bronze, you don't need any of them to win..... You need different things to know and a new strategy. It's like you didn't read tips I posted for the guy who asked me.

I know i suck, but i dont suck that much. And that is what you fail to notice. I know im not good, and Golds arent that great. Most are "Main or Feed" literally. Few are good anywhere else, kind of like me. If i go Top, im sure to lose lane, not in an awful way, but lose it non the less. However, if im Mid, im pretty much sure to not feed, and if i do, im actually still useful taking a more "supportive role" keeping allies alive or dishing out cc on priority targets.

There is a good deal of consistency in my play, while others in the lower elos have no consistency. I learn from mistakes, others dont. This alone means im not Bronze. Just that im not lucky enough.

Not even a Gold friend of mine is able to climb back to gold thus far. And like me, they dont have time to spam games to get out fast.

Challengers are on a whole different league of of their own, and even Challengers struggle against Pro-players who are yet on a different league of their own. They are Gods among newbs.

while gold, silver, and bronze are grains of sand in the wind, ground, and deep sea.

I'm not saying i need Plat, im no where near goo for it. Nor for Gold 1, 2, or 3. But Gold 4 and 5 seems to make sense. Lots of it. Last season i played against several Golds, and most weren't great. They were pretty much like me, chasing here and there, cs-ing relatively well, and getting fed. Plat smurfs unable to carry were here and there. Golds being demoted were no uncommon, Bronzies playing like Silvers were not rare, and Silver getting lucky and placed in silver were common. It was a mess XD.

I feel im Consistent enough for Gold. Not much more than lower end of Gold.

Theres no point to discuss about anymore. If you have read things I mentioned you should climb very easy without much effort.

Did you even read my tips?

Besides, wining your lane and knowing then to back, but your team doesn't feel like it, will make you lose. In bronze, you need to know when to push and then to help your team, so they wouldn't die at 4vs5 or get cought.

Really doesn't exist, it's a state of mind. Learn to play champs that can actually 1v5 and you can escape, if it happens to be "that" bad, which I doubt EVERY single game plays like that. Look intrinsically, not at everyone else. AND Dynamic queue lets you run 5s as solo Q, so find 4 decent players.

GenghisEmo2 votes

You know what i thought about? I need to start streaming this shit. You will see the Throws of the century. You will unparalleled feeding. You will see NA Tower Dives and NA Rengars all the time.

Game so easy right now in my elo that i can get up off my seat, eat, piss, feed my hamster, get back into it, and get a triple kill. Win lane somehow. Shutdown enemy carries. Prevent a Baron attempt from enemy. And deny 3rd and 5th Dragons (the more important ones). Take out all tier one towers. And somehow still lose XD.

Andrionar2 votes

It's not enought to play mechanicaly well and have a nice score to win games. You have to realize that wining your lane won't win you games. To win more games, you must snowball other lanes as fast as possible, focus on taking towers and making calls for baron. try seeing oportunitys.

Your adc overextending and you know that enemie is coming for him? if pining doesn't work, make a call, go bot by yourself and in the bush, or take towers top/mid while enemies are chasing your adc bot lane.

Edited: then your adc can't do anything, don't force fights. Tell him to play safe and try to farm under tower as much as possible. Then you're backing or enemie did, try to roam mid or top, deep ward enemie jungle or plann an invade.

Silvonius2 votes

There's no elo hell. No matter how many troll things happen to you on your team, there's just as much chance of them happening to the enemy team in any given game. You gotta remember that.

LF Annie2 votes

there is a higher chance because you gotta take yourself out of the statistics so your team is less likely to have a troll/feeder.

Nope.

People are just bad, and sometimes you just get bad games.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ4vPCY11eM

GenghisEmo1 votes

Then i must be getting so many bad games, even when taking down more towers, cs-ing amongst the best, and getting fed.

The Queen Viper1 votes

Then you are clearly doing something wrong, or playing champions that can't carry.

GenghisEmo1 votes

Like what? Winning my lane and that of my allies? Knowing when to Baron and when to take Drag (take drag right after a tower)?

Carry with Ahri? Or Brand? Vel Koz? (people cant dodge a skillshot XD). Shoot, getting 3 man ganked while i play Heim is hilarious, allies cant possibly fail to take out their towers.

BUT, the issue im a Supp main. So i see that Elo Hell is real. No amount of peel or feeding prevents a throw.

So i am now forced into carry roles. Mid being my strongest. Top being my weakest. I suck at ADC, but im my current elo, still easy to win. Or if i actually go against a good foe, i struggle, but still play smart to the point i carry hard.

So it isn't me per se, it is my role which puts me at the mercy of allies.

Supps have it hard in low elo. I know im not awful, im actually good enough that i get friend request. We proceed to then destroy and then my new Top or ADC stop playing around the time i play, and then i need to find a new one. But most are inconsistent that i stop duo-ing with em.

Well as you can see, the main problem here is that you are gimping yourself when playing a role that has to rely on your team and can't do much on their own. I personally do the same thing by only playing Cass, a late game oriented champion that also needs a team.

However, I'm still able to climb since I'm actually good and able to make a difference by doing dmg and killing people.

Keep playing those carry roles instead of support and you will climb eventually.

GenghisEmo1 votes

Oh yeah. Im definitely starting to lean WAY more towards mid. and i still seeing some of the same mistakes. But noticed i am slightly more likelier to win.

Now i just need competent allies that can position well enough so that they dont feed enemies that can one shot me. And without being one shot, i can go in. When i do get allies that position well, i win game FREAKING FAST. Barely hit 20min, and enemy surrenders and i end game with 1 or no deaths.

Well, tell that to the Diamond and Plats i know. They have seem me play. I have even one v one some. And i was surprised i got first blood. Only to stil get my ass handed to me later in other 1v1 matches or as a 1v1 dragged on (both, get first blood to win, and first to 5 or 10 wins).

i define consistency be having less than like 4-5 deaths every game. (not saying I'm a good player as i am not consistent at all)

GenghisEmo1 votes

i define consistency as being able to make good choices pretty often. So if you are supp, dying is perfectly fine if you deny a shutdown. As a carry positioning well to avoid death. And so on.

Additionally, you need to view things as a whole and strategically. Dont just chase, think about things and act.

and doing it often, equals consistency
