Why do people ban the new champ?

Heres where the logic is flawed. 90% of the time I ask why a new champ is banned, it's NOT because it's broken or that the other team will pick it, the logic is that "he's new and you haven't played him enough". Here's the meme: If a new champ is permabanned for a week straight won't I still be at the same experience level as the week he came out??? Yet after the first week everyone starts not banning that champ like people somehow magically learned to play him without playing him...That's where the argument is logically flawed. If anything it means that you will have more people performing badly the NEXT week because he isn't banned and NOBODY got to play him the first week.

Not to mention, their is a 90% chance that if you ban my pre-pick I'm trolling the everliving crap out of you that game unless you dodge.

If it's ranked, it's because people don't trust lack of experience.

But , feel free to play him in blind pick or vs Bots

As of word spreading, he currently has a bug that causes the game to completely crash. So there's that.

The minute he came out I bought him and got into a game as fast as I could. He didn't crash the game BUT the default skin was locked for me, which was lucky cause I bought the Thunder Lord skin.

If you troll, you pay the price for trolling. You don't play a new champ in ranked for at least two weeks.

Still, Ornn should see less restrictions since he's not a weeb-tastoc 8 year's old fantasy about how they'd like to live Anime.

Because unless you're first pick, you know you can't get him. People will play a new champion in any position, whether it makes sense or not. So then you get the whole "If I can't have it, you can't have it either" mentality.

I mean I get if they don't want to play against it, but your team mate Banning it? Why would they ban anything you want to play, whether it be new, meta, or kalista jungle? People are just dumb and moody, so I'm definitely with you on playing sub optimally if your team mates ban your pick.

The real solution to this problem would be to have new champs be locked in ranked for the first 1-2 weeks but be unbannable in unranked so people can get a feel for the new champion, playing as, with or against him.

They are bad players who got steamrolled by the lowest win rate champ in the game. They are under the impression Kayn is good, because a superior player beat them. As Kayn. They are probably a 48% win rate Yasuo main, that migrated from Tank Ekko.
