@RIOT I don't really have an incentive to work for honor

I already have over a hundred key fragments already, and no chests because I concentrate on a very small pool of champions and play alone.

I don't intend to start playing with friends or widen the pool of champions I play-- the value of the contents of over 30 chests is less than the value of simply enjoying the game by myself on the champions I gravitate towards.

I'm not implying that I'm a toxic player or that I would aspire to be toxic out of contempt for the honor rewards. In fact I regularly receive teamwork and honorable opponent:

I'm just giving you some feedback-- as a veteran league of legends player who has been here since the early days, I don't really feel rewarded by the upcoming honor system.

You are 1% of 1% of the minority. There is no way for riot to appeal to everyone, but your situation is a rare exception.

Pretty much anyone with a smaller champion pool is flooded with keys and no chests to spend them on. I'm sitting on 10 fully crafted keys right now, having unlocked 14 chests total this year. At this rate, it's going to be a good while into next season before I even run out of keys.

Do you need incentive to be a good person? That should be its own reward.

Honor was a vanity reward and was removed as such since people merely abused it in parties (guilty as charged) and even in lobbies (again, guilty). The ribbons meant nothing because it seemed to me that people just honored for the ribbons, not the honor.

I think doing away with honor rewards was fine.

When something appeals to 90% of the community it's pretty good
