I've been bringing bonus xp runes for a while on 
now (for a while i mean every game since his release) because I thought it would have a neat interaction with his chimes and I still think it does but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know if xp runes actually increase the xp bard gets from his chimes or has my whole life been a lie?
Im sure it does increase it, but overall, probably not worth taking since if you do your chimes right to begin with, you wont lose much XP. Remember chimes stay up for 10 mins so there is no rush to grab them. Letting them accumulate then doing a run is better than grabbing a few at a time since you can get a full charge of Mana, decent burst of XP, AND have the highest movement speed at 5 stacks allowing for a quick chime run without leaving your ADC alone for too long.
I am using xp quints too since his release and it makes a big difference if you actually know when to get chimes.The first two chimes are a must have to get.
