but I don't mind, I'm actually gonna just main jungle for S7 and rush back to Gold 5. Gragas Hecarim Shyvana Vi Sejuani There, those are gonna be the champions that I will use. I've lost 9/10 because I went top all those games, why did I do that? because I wanted to know how the meta work and I've discovered that top is a one sided lane, it doesn't matter if you ward but if you are getting the 1st gank which happened 100% of the time you are behind, I've noticed that jungler are barely punished, even if you ward and they will stop ganking they never end up being behind, even if your team is losing a good jungler can carry the whole team because most of those jungler have game impacting ult.

They are strong enough to remove 2 carry at the same time and thanks to colossus masteries they are unkillable.

It's a Meta that require everyone to be good, but I'm actually kinda skeptical about that because most of the games I had was because I was 1st pick and I would constantly getting counterpicked all the time. Most of the match up I had was unfavorable for me. On top of the fact that for some reason I always deal with the Duo top Jungle, which keeps camping me and I was always falling behind.

In other words, I've decided that Ranksoloqueue is great for Jungle Main, instead of going for mid which has a 20% slow queue time why don't every just start maining jungle? The winrate of a Jungle Main is actually quite higher than people expect, If you look at the top 10players worldwide 80% of them are jungler Main.

Jungle as a role is broken right now. They pretty much decide the outcome of the game.

THey dont get punished for failing ganks cause of the abundance of exp in the new jungle.

Back in the day a jungler who was ganking constantly would at least be 3 levels behind.

Now the same jungler is 3 levels ahead.

You exaggerated slightly, but the disturbing reality is that you are mostly correct. Junglers have an absurd amount of impact on the game right now and even throughout season 6 they had too much impact.

It's one of the biggest reasons I chose to main midlane; its much more difficult to gank.

Thing is they already had much impact but riot made it so that farming isn't necessary for xp atleast not heavy farming. So you can gank all day without falling behind.

I've been solo queue jg main for the past season and this pre. What you say isn't accurate, and whether or not you get past gold with those champs will be purely based on your random team comps, just the way it has always been for anyone not playing a hard carry.

And the exp penalty for ganking is still the same as it's always been Jg ganking is part of their role. JGler who ganks helps his team move forward and WILL suffer xp if the ganks aren't successful often enough. JGler who doesn't gank and constant farms will grow quicker, but his team will have to live without him til he surfaces.

There's just more JG champ options than before, and some of them need to gank and others are less impacted one way or the other in terms of their growth.

Yeah a lot of jungle mains, especially the pro ones who go to a new region or start a new account are generally the ones whom climb the fastest, look at Rush for example.

As of right now the ammoung of farm and exp being picked up just adds more snowballing potential to the role and champions like Zac who can just yolo dive and have a second life are barely punished.

I played 5-5 in placements and dropped from gold 5 to brozne 1 aswell. First game in bronze : 3 Gold Borders in our team, 2 without borders (=bronze) 2 Gold symbols in the enemy team.

Outcome: Our ashe (bronze) ended up getting outplayed by the gold (symbol) ez after 2 mins and went afk. Everyone from the opposing team had significantly better farm etc. than a bronze player would have.

Im not fkn playing against gold players for bronze lp. The team that is more heavily "handicapped" by bronze players , will be losing like 75% of the time if not more. cant handle the tilt. i get the (soft!!!) reset logic, but this is just ridicoulus : yeah, lets drop all gold players to bronze and let them mess up their mmr already by losing because of actual bronze players! cant even be asked to play any more solo q until the season is 1 or 2 months in.

Went 6-4 and went from D5 to G1. Every game I lost I had intentionally feeding teammates :)

Top is a bit more sophisticated, but you do have some correct points. My tip to you If you continue playing top is knowing the match ups, each champions strengths, wether to abuse, push, passively farm/freeze and to keep wards in areas for certain junglers(like blue side tribush... Put a control ward for lee-sin there.)

The spawn timers are so long that you can just farm your jungle and then spend tons of time camping and snowballing a lane without falling behind in farm. It also makes counterjungling even more powerful due to the longer timers to the point where each jungle camp is basically like a mini objective and you can snowball super hard against the enemy jungler based on that.

I have been starting on the enemy camp and can confirm that unless the enemy jungler proceed to gank every lane and get kills he will get behind 1 or 2 levels due to that single camp I stole

As a support main, I find this true. It's always been our job to watch when you guys gank and frankly the job has gotten harder. IMO though Elise is the most broken jungler right now, there is like 0 things you can do if she dives when a wave is pushed in.

I'm kind of sad. I was gold 4, ended silver 5 after placements. Spent 4,000 games getting to gold, and now I have to go do that over again. T_T

I went from Silver 3 to Silver 5.. with a 3-7 placement record. I'm quite confused as to what happened but now I'm only gaining 12-14LP per win.

That's the confusing part. Why was I placed Silver 5 after 3W-7L in placements if my rank previous was only Silver 3?

First of all, you had 7 losses, which could've lowered your mmr. second, everybody is placed lower when the season starts as the maximum is plat.

This is what I'm talking about. I DIDN'T really place lower. If the 7 losses lowered my MMR I should have PLACED in bronze somewhere. Likely Bronze 5. But I placed Silver 5.

Do you not understand why my placement is confusing?

I play top and mid, mostly mid though since I'm tired of being constantly ignored by the jungle.

At least in mid early ganks can result in easy kills, since midlaners are so squishy.

In top I just get camped.

went from Plat to silver 3 years in a row now. went 6-4 in placements and got silver 2. Mean while someone else in my lobby went 2-8 and was placed in plat 5 when he was plat 4 last season. Fair But like u said we will just climb that latter again.

I love building a lead in top lane only to freeze at my turret because the jungle can go straight from mid to top while being 1-3 levels ahead.

You straight up can't fight a jungle the first 9+ levels.

If you have a bad jungle and they have a good one, the game feels over.

I honestly try to avoid jungling when I can because I fear those games where if I simply cannot gank, I get a ton of pings and abusive chat messages like "Oh, what a s**** jng, doesn't even gank". There's all this other pressure especially if the enemy jungler is ganking 100x better than me and all I can do is try and ward and ping carefuls, etc.

Oh and that whole situation where your whole team is taking camps off you and questions why you're so behind.

I was plat 5, wit 99 lp.... I went 3-7 in placements, got an S in everygame except 1. Literally had a troll in everygame(because silvers are crazy af)..afkers twice because someone flamed them, fucking duo premade top lane, that proceeded to int... Got placed in silver 5... How tf is riot gona drop me 10divisions man, now im stuck with crazy silvers, doing dumb shit everygame, My smurf got placed higher then my main, how does that make any sense? .. I enjoyed being plat because I could finally play support, now I'm stuck having to carry everygame to get out of this trash.. I understand if I was placed gold 5 or something but silver 5 man wtf.. Yal are gona make me waste so much time climbing back to plat, so I can once again enjoy competitive games. Not silver games that have 40kills by 20min mark
