then you should be banned from playing any ranked games for the rest of the day. Your afk system is complete bullshit and it needs to be fixed.

Legitimately, I think that it would be a better system than just outright banning someone from ranked or the game overall or meting out some insanely harsh punishment.

Hear me out, we will go with typical counter-argument #1.

"But I had bad internet and didn't mean to DC."

That is fine, the system isn't saying "you get hammered with double LP loss," or "you have a 50 minute queue until your next few games." All it says is that you can't play ranked for that day and in that time perhaps you can get your shit fixed. If you consistently have issues with this, it's a case by case thing that you would have had to solve anyways, in the meantime you can't hurt others with your desire to play ranked, knowing your connection makes you a potential liability for any team you are on.

If it's a league server thing, in theory it should get cleared up in a day, in the meantime your bad internet can't trouble ranked more than one team a day at most.

For those people who negatively affect the game by purposely AFK'ing, it would massively inconvenience them because it limits how many games they can purposely do that in ranked, which SHOULD carry serious repercussions for doing such.

It's harder to deal with trolls, but AFK's are very easy to spot and deal with.

I just really hate the system now, People afk all the time because they get ganked once and rage quit or the team starts off 0-5 its ridiculous. It feels as if they don't get punished, they don't lose anything.

I just played a game where people trolled the pick then afked out at ten minutes and talked about it openly. Do people ever actually get bans? I have to think they don't or people wouldn't openly talk about it. The should just start deleting accounts on deliberate afks where they openly admit it. I was going to buy some more rp this month i will not now.

Next game another afk another afk
