Why Do People play Champs they don't Know in Ranked?

That's what normals and bots are for. I am tired of seeing someone uber feed and then looking at their profile afterwards and realizing they have never played the champion they just played before.

Because they think the champ is OP even when they have 0 experience on them. Mainly because the phrase "no skill" gets thrown around a lot.

Well in my case it's because we don't get Normal Draft queue at all and I don't play Blind Pick because it sucks. It's almost impossible to get the champ you want to play in Blind Pick because it's a race to see who can type the fastest, or else who instalocks with the least fucks given.

On the bright side, this means I can't play free rotation champions at all, so there is that at least.

Fuck Riot OCE.[slayer-jinx-unamused]

I just lost a ranked because of a player took Aatrox but had no idea how to play Aatrox. He fed his lane and then rage quit. Even if he had just stayed in the game it would have been an easy win. People play ranked for the competitive aspect and desire to move up in rank. Playing a champion one has no experience with is selfish and thoughtless. Rage quitting because of one's own choice to play a champion without experience is both selfish and rude. Both decisions affect 4 other people negatively.
