I feel like I always get matched vs too skilled people, and those people focus diana whenever she tries to assassinate people. my old enemies used to never focus diana or katarina or anything and I could get over 30 kills but now I can't do that anymore.

thats what I do, but now matchmaking sux and always m atches me against people who actualy know how to focus, and I always get focused first. i still do well, but not as well as I used to when I was matched with bronze V -500 LP people
Dreadlocks1 votesPerhaps wait longer before going into (give more chance for your tanks to be focused ->CC to be used) or try to flank better.

It used to be different, every enemy team was just assassins and there was practically no cc on the enemy team with a Yi and a Kata fighting over kills

it's not because of meta, its because theyre matching me against much better players and its hard to assassinate when you're actually being focused.
just a month or two ago, my enemy teams would never focus any assassin and would focus the 0-16-7 caitlyn because "focus adc", which made it easy for me to assassinate

Q again if it connects > R>W>R(dead squishy at this point)>Zhonya if getting collapsed on>Q>E(Or save E to use as an interrupt for someone like Katarina)>W>AA and weave skills as they come off CD
In lane > Q poke > Q+R+W+AA (if you have Passive ready) > Back off unless another R would kill them > Q+R+R to finish
