As someone who plays every role, I hate the new draft queue
Picking FILL in ranked is basically a noob trap because it's impossible that you're equally good in all 5 positions. You just get a match faster, but that doesn't help you getting as far as possible on the ladder...
My main strategy in Ranked used to be to let my team decide their roles and fill in so that my teammates had their prefered roles and are more likely to carry. But now, everyone has this advantage, even when you demand two specific roles. It feels like League is now "just pick 2 roles and play that every time if you want to climb", which is incredibly boring. Yes, in the old days I also tried to spam the same champs as often as possible, but at least you'd need 2-3 champs per role, not just 4 champs in total.
Another issue is that support was my second favourite role (after toplane) but if I'd pick support as secondary, I'm never able to go top. Since top is still the prefered one, I now pick my third prefered role as secondary. I'm sure a lot of other people do this. Result? So many people are avoiding support which results in an even greater lack of supports and longer queue.
You seriously need to do something about it, Riot. The current queue is a mess. (not even speaking about the dynamic queue part, others do that for me)
