I can't see Summoner Specialist ever being used.

Summoner Specialist:

You start with 1 Summoner Shard and gain an additional Summoner Shard each time you cast a Summoner Spell. Swap a Summoner Spell to a different one by exchanging 3 Summoner Shards at the shop. Additionally, gain 15% Summoner Spell cooldown reduction. (You cannot have two of the same Summoner Spells)

As cool as the idea is, realistically i cant ever see it being used.

summoner 4 already dominates this game and every role will always take it no matter what.

summoner 14 used mostly on mid lane and assassins summoner 12 almost always taken top summoner 7 is a must for the ADC role summoner 3 is a must for most supports summoner 11 is a must for junglers.

summoner 21 summoner 6 are situational summoner 1 is a joke.

The problem is the meta determins what roles get what sommoner spells and the lack of summoner spells to begin with makes swapping mid match even less appealing.

I think if the shards instead UPGRADED summoner spells in a way instead of swapping them then it would become a top pick. But just swapping out a summoner spell for another is really not all that useful in my opinion.

someone like Gangplank or Nasus can take summoner 14 summoner 3 into lane for early kill pressure and swap it for summoner 4 summoner 12 late game

You could, but that comes at the Opportunity cost of another Rune. Is that Worth? (Haven't looked too deeply at runes yet, so I'm not sure.)

If anything regarding this spell, I'd be more interested in how it impacted Junglers. There has been the question on how it impact the Jungle items. (Which normally require smite) But also notice that smite is a fairly short CD, means it could easily stack the shards. (Riot will probably have some max stack of shards or something. ) And on top of all of that, how will the 15% Summoner CD affect Smite and clear speed?

Last question I wonder, How does swapping Summoners, affect their Cooldowns. (Flash down? guess I will swap it out with ghost.) And if I smited my way to another 3 shards in 2.5 minutes or so, and swapped back to flash, Will it still be on Cooldown, or would it have refreshed?

u underestimate the power of few early kills with the ign + exh or f . this can change everything real quick and then in late game u take tp for globall pressure.

I could see myself starting summoner 4 summoner 14 on Singed for some lvl 2 cheese. Then swapping to summoner 6 summoner 12 as the game progresses.

i see ANY laner getting exh ign for early kill pressure and then swap to tp flash or something else for late game. saying stuff like it wont help is just showing how little u know the game. and clense is not useless u want ap mage to take qss or what? for real ppl in na smoke something really powerful.
