Peaked P1 my first season (8) with D4 mmr and finally hit D4 this preseason. Never thought I’d advance so far in a game I just began playing but I guess I should thank all my friends who got me started into League to begin with and gave me tips I never would’ve learned myself.

- Minion damage changed from [Deals double damage to minions] to [Deals 45/60/75/90/105 bonus damage to minions]
- Vanguard's Edge (R)
- wall damage increased from 75/125/175 to 125/200/275
- slow potency increased from 60% to 90%
- wall duration lowered from 2.5/3/3.5 to 2.5 at all levels
- [Removed] No longer disarms enemies passing through the wall
Jax
- Base AD lowered from 69.67 to 68
- Leap Strike (Q) damage lowered from 80/120/160/200/240 to 65/105/145/185/225

Scorpio Szn1 votesYeah I primarily main her top but occasionally will take her mid. I tend to only play Jax when I see our team has near zero potential winning a full on 5v5 teamfight (to many mages, to squishy, etc) so I just split to victory.
Z3Sleeper1 votesYou're definitely gonna find that Diamond 4 -> Diamond 2 is essentially the same-ish skill level. Once you get to Diamond 1 though expect to be there awhile. Every 20 LP in Diamond 1 is like a whole new skill division.

My friends (who are all P2 - D2) practically bugged me into starting saying that I won’t be ass when I begin cause I’ve played mobas in the past and the Irelia trailer is actually the reason I truly began to play League.

PlsLoLMMO2 votesDont know how it works on NA but on EUW-Servers reaching Dia 4 meant to be stuck in Bronze 5 elo Hell or smth. i mean srsly basically a percentage of 99% or higher in EUW Diamond 4 is playing like silver 4 or below. So i´ll just hope ur not stuck or be a part of that elo hell :3 for me it will be forever: playing with dia 4 so i have to dodge CS or just enjoy my freelose. There exist nearly no good players in dia 4 :(

Then again, I had 0 CPU experience and dived into the moba world completely ignorant of how anything worked. Level 1 right clicking enemies and getting owned by minions and turrets.
TL;DR I'm super jelly, but congratulations. Welcome to diamond. If you ever make it to D1 though, screw you lol

Scorpio Szn1 votes1 - Focus primarily on csing and punishing enemy mistakes second in lane. 2 - Buy a control ward every time you back (EVERY SINGLE TIME). 3 - Check the map every 30 or so seconds. 4 - Keep track of the enemy jungler. 5 - Build to counter enemy team comp (a lot of crit? Randuins. A lot of overtime/repetitive magic damage? Adaptive Helm) 6 - Make calculated aggressive plays 7 - Focus on objectives. 8 - If you play top lane I recommend taking teleport so you can make tp plays throughout the whole game. 9 - Never flame (I typically just mute all every game so I can focus 100% on the game) 10 - Play snowbally champions so if you get a lead early you can actually push it to carry the game. Getting two kills early game is way more impactful on a champion like Jax than Malphite (unless they’re full ad of course) 11 - Do not, under any circumstance, throw shutdowns. If you’re worth like 1k gold you need to be extremely careful of dying cause giving that to the wrong enemy can literally throw the game.
Sir Prepuzius1 votesoh i see, thanks for that i see a lot of streamers and korean replays so i think i've got the basics down, in theory at least, but i don't understand a thing about buying control wards i usually buy plenty but a lot of them goes to waste since a new ward replace the other.. in that case if the ward is well positioned i should conserve the new one, right?
Scorpio Szn1 votesTbh I personally got used to buying two control wards at once cause whenever one gets destroyed either by a jungler or the opposing laner I have another to place down. By the time that one is destroyed I’m ready to back anyway. Its a useful tip I got from my friend so that I can always have effective ward converage if I plan to go aggressive or take herald.
