Zilean Rework idea

This is general, I don't gave specific numbers, not the best at that.

I feel like his kit lacks options, passive sucks and W is lacking with so few skills, so I changed passive and W.

PASSIVE- get rid of the useless exp aura thing. Never ever seems noticeable. Make his W his passive, cept it activates like every 4 or 5 skills used and refreshes his cooldowns then. Sounds strong but you could go oom quickly so its not as strong as it may sound.

Q- keep the same

W- this is assuming support is primary purpose. Have him reset the cooldown on an ALLY of the last non ult skill used. With the appropriate CD I think this would be a much better W.

E- same

R- same

Alternitivley you could keep the crappy passive and just add my W idea to his current W so he is laneable for those three mid lane Zileans out there.

Firts of all, a properly time mage should not look like a grenade launcher. The current kit he has is a completely waste and a design mess. Zilean should be reworked to the roots. According to your suggestion, I think Riot tried that idea, but turned out to be utterly broken with certain pick configurations. I like it anyway.

Everyone wants to put Zilean's W on his passive.

Why?

Just change his passive and maybe make his Q not suck.

Because his W sucks as well. He basically has 2 spells, that he can occasionally double cast.

He can lob bombs or speed/slow someone. Two skills, both highly underwhelming. All W does is let him do it again.

A 2 skill kit us boring. He doesn't feel like a time mage, and between ults you are either going fast or lobbing a crappy skillshit.

Just isn't fun to play.

I've been playing Zilean support since the end of Season 3 and I've always had fun with him.

Granted, after they reworked his kit, it felt sloppy and harded to really do anything with.

But I have had no problem with him having 2 spells beforehand.

Granted there is opinion and preference. But a look at play rate shows most people don't enjoy/find him worth playing.

He was slightly fun before because his point and click nuke was op and oppressive, which made up for a lot of his limited options.

He new Q sucks to a lot of people, so he lost his one real asset. Now he does nothing besides throw crappy innacurate bombs (unless your a hardcore zil main) and slow/speed someone. I find it boring as hell.

W does nothing to make both of those underwhelming spells any better the second time around d.

At least before you knew you could double nuke someone garunteed.
