And you probably had no MR or bonus health to speak of, meaning with void staff and the usually MPen runes, he was dealing near true damage to you.

Over 1000 damage with ult? I'm pretty sure you were playing a squishy champion and had no MR at all (40 MR maybe?). Thats a lategame full build assassin I see no harm on that.
