Finally someone who is Challenger and Big Streamer spoke the true...

If you Riot can't even balance Match Making, "Give Players the abilities to SOLO CARRY"

Sure Riot is doing this to stop High Elo players from maybe smurfing but at the same time, it causes more toxicity and players to lose more game that they shouldn't because they got 4 noobs on their team LOL

Stupid IN-GAME REWARD doesn't help me climb the Ranked Ladder

This is such a stupid and arrogant mentality. You will solo carry yourself up until a certain point. Then you're with 9 other players who are your approximate skill level... All of whom can also solo carry themselves presumably. So who gets to win? 50% will lose.. that's how competition works.

"Wahh I'm so good i should be able to win every game because I play better than others"

Wasnt the a masters duo last season in silver that only had a 75% winrate. If masters cant win every game when there the top players than even if youca few levels higher how can you be expected to climb.

In chess you climb quickly until you start hitting a .5 win ratio. That's your skill level. This is how league works generally too.

If masters can't carry against silvers then they're not really master.

I'm gold and when I play vs bronze it's a hard stomp. When I play with silver I can tell I'm in an easy game. When I'm vs plat or higher I can feel myself being pushed to my limit.

Again. If I can carry against silver I don't see how a true master wouldn't .

I'm talking about majority of games. Of course outliers exist.

.75 is still carrying the point is that its over such a long period of time that it sorta just sucks. especially at 30ish minutes a game and with trolls and smurfs.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but I don't recall Chess being team based nor rules about how your opponent's pieces got stronger based on your teammates' failures. I also don't remember any systems being added to the core game for the purpose of lessening the benefits a player got for making a correct play. No, say, "Capture Streak" bonus that gave a player pieces back when he took one in return or anything like that. If I am not remembering correctly and there are such things in the game of Chess, might those have an effect on a True Scottish Chessmaster?

You're bringing up no true scottsman in an attempt to ignore the point of an ELO system? ok.

Good players will carry themselves, and the closer they get to their "true skill", the closer their winrate will get to 0.5 Why is that so difficult to understand?

You're listing details about the differences in the game, missing the point completely though. Yes, you're not solely responsible for your winrate like in chess, but it doesn't mean that the elo system doesn't work in the long run. Of course you won't win every game where you're "favoured", but you don't in chess either.

Yet professor akali went something like 40W-0L through silver and gold before fianlly losing a match in plat. Ive nefer heard of this "Masters duo with 75% winrate in silver". I would love to see some info on it

In older seasons the top players actually did carry themselves. There are videos of NB3 getting 20+ kills in a challenger game hard carrying. That just flat out doesnt happen anymore. Now a lot of times an auto filled person or an idiot that likes to run it down and die 10 times will out weight the 20 kill player almost always. Obviously someone with a very high rank can stomp noobs, that isnt new. The problem is as the skill get tighter its impossible to carry if one person decides he doesn't want to win. That is why you see people that were in challenger the last few seasons stuck in Diamond right now. They destroy their laner and make them look worthless, but cant 1v9.

"Give them the ability to solo carry, and they won't be toxic"? Uhm... I'm pretty sure that's not the sole reason people are toxic. I started this game before people complained that you can't solo carry (aka you could solo carry), and toxicity was still there in pretty much the same measure (people just channelled their existing toxicity through this new lens is all). That's just a reductive and poor argument. It's not convincing at all.

Warlord Scrap1 votes

Toxicity exists everywere. Its more prevelant online because your not face to face. Online games have always been toxic. Now im a bit old so i remeber the early 2000s toxicty and i can honestly say league aint shit compared to that though.

HaIlMonitor1 votes

Back when you could 1v9 you just carried the game. Now that you have to have other do well its a lot easier to point fingers and blame. "I always get bad team mates" arguments are a lot more valid.

Just because you're challenger doesn't mean you have a perfect understanding of every element of League of Legends and it's community...far from it actually

Yeah the fact that majority the community only cry about X Champion is OP isn't dumb LOL, which you might think is not dumb is why you're also part of that community

I can't tell if I'm reading what you said wrong or not, but that's just not what I said all. Are you being passive aggressive?

How does that have anything at all to do with "morals".

Lots of people do tuings they dont want to do for a paycheck. The vast majority of people do actually. I dont think that makes it morally wrong

Yeah let me just go and wave my magic wand so that every role has equal carrying potential every game and none of them are better at it than other roles.

Wait....isnt this the same guy who cried like a baby and took his ball and went home and said he was done with league? But yet he is still playing it. How is anyone supposed to take him seriously when he cant even stick to his word and then says dumb shit like this?

Being able to solo carry has nothing to do with your inability to not be toxic. Even if you hard carry and still lose because of stuff your team did (even if they tried their best and just made mistakes) you can not be toxic just because you didnt win.

Also, unless i missed the memo, someone please show me where Riot said the In Game Rewards were meant to help you climb. I've never seen them say that.

Nope.

Ok so then I guess the post on his twitter when he said he was done with league and quitting was him being hacked? It was exactly 2 weeks ago.

Sincerely, how did you expect this conversation to go in your head? What is there to gain from how you are conducting it?

You are being blatantly ridiculous and people can't respond to this seriously. "How is anyone supposed to take him seriously when he dares to change his mind about something?! because somehow it's suddenly a 180 and that is now supposed to be a bad thing.

You try to make multiple, unwarranted insinuations about his character for changing the details of his self-employed job and you even didn't pay attention to and mischaracterized what he said in a 19 second video clip. A nineteen second video.

So what do you even want from this thread when you act this way?

VvVVvV1 votes

What do you mean how do i expect the conversation to go on. i asked a question. You responded by saying "Nope" even though anyone can see the answer was yes. At a time he was losing a lot of games he said he was quitting. The conversation can end or you can choose to respond....thats how conversations work.

As far as a 19 second video...ok that is just the video.......i guess you are assuming i havnt ever watched his stream before. Ok ill let you assume that.

the fact of the matter is he is relating 2 things that have nothing to do with each other. Someone not being able to solo carry has nothing to do with their inability to not be toxic. Well....i guess if they are immature then mayybe.

And Riot never said that in game rewards were meant to help you climb.

You asked a question that was a personal accusation so I answered correctly. And again, I have to ask what are you actually expecting to gain from the conversation because all I can see is nothing

As far as a 19 second video...ok that is just the video.......i guess you are assuming i havnt ever watched his stream before. Ok ill let you assume that.

Watching the stream or not is completely irrelevant because the topic of discussion is the video clip that presents the argument, which has no one has any reason to think you really watched because...

the fact of the matter is he is relating 2 things that have nothing to do with each other. Someone not being able to solo carry has nothing to do with their inability to not be toxic. And Riot never said that in game rewards were meant to help you climb.

he does say how they are related, and you are portraying something entirely different from what he said. So this would be considered a problem, a particularly inordinate one because it's only 19 seconds long.
