Zac's armor: 23.88 (+3.5 per level)

Katarina's armor: 26.88 (+3.5 per level) Zed's Armor: 26.88 (+3.5 per level) Akali's armor: 26.38 (+3.5 per level) Rengar's armor: 25.88 (+3.5 per level) Ekko's armor: 27 (+3 per level) Evelynn's armor: 26.5 (+3.8 per level) Kha'Zix's Armor: 24.04 (+3 per level) Master YI's armor: 24.04 (+3 per level) Nocturne's armor: 26.88 (+3.5 per level) Shaco's armor: 24.88 (+3.5 per level) Talon's armor: 26.88 (+3.5 per level)

Now let's compare Zac to other Tanks.

Shen's Armor: 25.72 (+4 per level) Cho'Gath's armor: 28.88 (+3.5 per level) Blitzcrank's armor: 24.38 (+3.5 per level) Alistar's armor: 24.38 (+3.5 per level) Galio's armor: 26.88 (+3.5 per level) Jarvan's armor: 27.048 (+3.6 per level) Leona's armor: 27.208 (+3.1 per level) Malphite's armor: 28.3 (+3.75 per level) Maokai's armor: 28.72 (+4 per level) Nautilus's armor: 26.46 (+3.25 per level) Rammus's armor: 31.384 (+3.8 per level) Sejuani's armor: 29.54 (+3 per level) Singed's armor: 27.88 (+3.5 per level)

All of these champion's have greater armor values then Zac. Zac also doesn't have any %max HP scaling on his damage abilities, only AP. Zac has long channel times and his ult can be unreliable. He's by nature squishy, with him needing to use HP and having low base stats and scaling compared to other champions making him really underwhelming to play. His passive has a 5 minute cooldown and can be killed with ease by any form of damage. His passive blobs only have 12% of his max HP each and 50% armor making it really easy to kill.

Why is his armor per level and base armor so low and why does he not have any HP scaling on his abilities so that his damage can't just be ignored. I have some really valid points and would love to have meddler or somebody working on the balance team come by and help out by at least giving some insight into why this is.

The point of this discussion was to point out that zac needs some help and he's not gonna get any without your guys' help.

well, he's a tank that can also use gunblade, what's his hp scaling compared to theirs? he gains %hp based damage to compensate for his own loss on a low cooldown area of effect, he has an engage/disengage tool, his ult can crowd control multiple enemies in a short amount of time and as someone else put it, he can activate his W while his ult is active(i haven't tested this)

he is due for a buff though, dr mundo and vlad outclass him in sustain and damage but not crowd control so idk

edit: unstable matter can be used and if combined with his E can produce a lot of health restore for the damage he takes. also, his W has a very high health ratio with a max of 28% (why anyone would build 900 ap on zac...but 500 will do plenty at 20% of their hp max rank and 100 bonus magic damage

thinking about it, they might not need to buff him because they nerfed sejuini for having nearly so good ratios...look out Tanky Zac X.X

as a further comment to my other post, he can get decently tanky with this build item 3027 item 3027 item 3089 item 3157 item 3065 and boots of choice. this gives him 520 ap at max stacks or 540 with 5% bonus ap from masteries up to 550 something I guess, then up to 570 or whatever with runes if you wanted it

point is, with those items, he achieves 500 ap which allows him to hit for 20% of an opponent's hp (and multiple opponents at once I might add) so long as they are in range

hp value total: 4024 without adding in extraneous things

armor total: 136

magic resist total: almost 110: same as armor if you add tenacity boots

if you opt for jungle zac and get cinderhulk, suddenly his hp spikes to 5400 hp and his area damage is even greater. I realize this places him without movement speed buffs, however his E is quite a long distance engage tool, so it would be up to preference

Probably because he has built in sustain and a revive passive (although from what I understand, revive passives tend to make a champion generally weaker, so if there's any culprit, it's that)
