@Riot, is Exhaust too strong of a spell?

I've seen some higher tier and pro players complain about how strong it is. Some even advocate removing it. I enjoy it as a support spell, but it can be used offensively in other lanes.

I think exhaust is far too strong right now, and yeah a bunch of high elo's and pros have commented its getting out of hand.

The way I see it is that when exhaust is a better offensive spell to take than ignite then we have a problem, and we're at the level right now.

I use it over ignite in the top lane. It slows atk speed and dmg taken which allows me to win trades. If they turret dive me, i slow them under my turret allow them to take a few turret shots and then land a killing attack. If I'm gonna die and I;m being turret dove I can use it to slow them down and take turret shots allowing me to get the kill even after death. If I need to chase the top laner down because he has little life and cant gap close I can use it to slow him down.

Ignite is useless and TP is nice but exhaust is the way to go. Only time I take ignite is if I'm a mid lane champ.
