"Mastery grade calculations for supports will be adjusted during this patch.

Since we introduced mastery levels 6 &amp; 7, support players felt even more incentivized to snipe kills to pad their stats and improve their chance at an S or S+. We&rsquo;re re-tuning the system, sorting out some additional variables so supports get more credit for support-y game-winning plays.

Pretty much said support aren't being graded properly and downvoted to oblivion but then riot themselves say it rofl.

they still incentivise selfish play by rewarding lasthitting wards and turrets since I am pretty sure that revealing the ward or dealing 2 of the 3 hits or dealing 90% of the damage to the turret does not count as much as doing the last hit does

same with farming mid- and late game, people try to take everything rather than distribute it

you were downvoted because you care about grades. if you care about the champion enough then you'll play them so often that you'll get the tokens without even trying.

You missed the point entirely. In fact rather or not i care about grades has no baring on the argument whatsoever. Pointing out a flaw in the system is the main focus. If you had a system that so so skewed that it focuses on getting a lot of kills to get grades then there is a problem with the system for classes that aren't designed with that focus in mind.

P.S.: Your message translates into "You were downvoted for questioning the system" which i agree i was. You cant comment about the system without taking grades into consideration.

No, I said you were downvoted for CARING about the system. Whether it works well or doesn't, it's bad for the game for players to play for high grades.

Then you couldn't be more wrong, i don't care about that's much my mains are already rank 7, what i care about is supports getting as much recognition as everyone else. Out of all the roles they get the least recognition the least that can be done is they get a proper grade for their performance. The fact you got your counter argument from thin air further proves my point. I don't even play support lol.
