Supporting an ADC that doesnt kite solution/advice? Lulu "main"

AMADEUSdotEXE··3 votes·1,075 views

Im a VERY 'kity' Lulu player, and I will generally try to turn a bad situation into a good one by kiting as much as possible even if my carry is on the verge of death to try and use our range to our advantage. However occasionally in Bronze I come across a carry or 2 that does not kite even when the odds are clearly in their favor. (Ex. lvl. 14 low hp Vayne running from a full health lvl. 8 taric) Im not really sure what to do about this, asking them nicely to try and kite doesn't really work so what do 'I' need to do?

I got the same Jinx that fits this stereotype 2 games in a row :(

Don't waste energy on that issue. Some adcs don't kyte in Gold. This is not a bronze problem.

Eh, the inability to kite isn't just a bronze problem.

Be the bait yourself so they can actually "feel safer" and start attacking, and do the running on your own. The better you make your own pathing as the bait, the easier it is for your AD's to just get to their senses and start focusing. Otherwise if he can't even do that, that's a lost cause and you should consider prioritizing your supporting abilities to other teammates.

Though to make sure they run after you and not the carry, make sure you have < 30% HP left, or low enough for people to take you down first before taking anyone else down.

I mean, don't let that "tank build" of yours go to waste. Also, FQC helps you bait so much more easily.

Just take over lane if he fck's up too much. Then give him the look if he ask's where you got the money for a death cap.

LOL I'm in Plat and when I support my Bronze friend in normals, I have to shout at him to keep kiting when I know we can win the fight instead of running away xD But all in good fun.

To be honest, Bronze/Silver players should never play Vayne in ranked. It's such an extra weight on the team to carry your ass to late game and coddle you until then. If the player can't even kite, it sucks to be the support.

Your options would be to just build damage and learn to be the carry support, or you can ignore the ADC and protect the other carry on your team. Hopefully, the ADC will catch on and follow the team's lead.

  1. Play Janna
  2. Press QR when they get to your ADC.
  3. Press QW when they get kinda close again.
  4. Keep putting up shields every time someone is taking damage.

Your ADC should be able to beat almost anyone even by right clicking them if your opponents are about as good as an ADC that stands there attacking.

If they can't kite then play Soraka. She has an added bonus because people usually focus her before the ADC automatically. You can plan for it much better than an ADC can.

After the Soraka nerfs, go back to playing Janna for ADCs who cannot kite. Seriously though, there's not a lot you can do for someone who forgets the basics.

The ADC kiting problem is something that persists into Gold, trust me, so you have to learn to live with it if you're in low ELO.

I've come to accept when I have a bad ADC. You try to prop them up as much as you can, because a bum ADC can really bring your team down like no other, but in the end you should slowly try to focus supporting another teammate. My last game I had this amazing Irelia that I was able to help out much more than my Jhin ADC.

Don't forget the ADC though, because remember, a feeding ADC might as well mean your whole team is feeding sadly.

Get them safely to mid game. Then ward their path, kiss their forehead, and let them farm.
