Can only really burst in the late game against squishier targets.
Cant actually build full damage.
Needs to get his Isolation proc off.
I legitimately dont get why he is so bad when the likes of Annie exist.
Zhugan2 votesThe issue with Morde, as he is right now before the changes, is that if you are melee and try to farm he gets to hit you. Without really losing anything. And he can repeat that every 6 seconds. For a minimum of 70 damage.
I can understand why Riot doesn't like that playstyle, but the new one is... well, if I'm being nice, odd or if I'm being honest bad.

Oh, nono, i understand why they want to bring him into a more Bruiser side. While he can be played as one pretty decently atm, it is true that he has more success focusing on burst.
What i want to know is why every single person acts like bursty Mord is the god damn Anti-Christ. Are people still having flash backs from when he was OP 3 seasons ago?
CrazedPorcupine1 votesThat's the thing, most of the people who are okay with the changes are the ones that remember that when Morde was focused entirely on burst, he was literally UNKILLABLE because his shield NEVER went down. The problem is that Morde in his current state, or any state where he's allowed to be a solid solo laner, means that he is so obscenely oppressive that he just can't exist in a healthy state.
That's the biggest problem with morde, his very nature as an immobile fighter means that he has to be rewarded insanely for being and staying in melee range.

never fell off late game if it was somehow possible to not fall off late game for darius and keep that same power he has in lane there you have mord his poke is borderline toxic since you have no way to retaliate to it since he gets a free fucking shield he can shred a tank with ult he can kill the adc and make a 5 v 5 into a 6 v 4 then win that fight and push tower even more now i agree these nerfs are too high there needs to be better compensation for more than just this shit
