I want more revolver itemization personally

Something that has the same passive as revolver but with CDR and a bigger burst would be absolutely fantastic.

I find it strange that none of the items that build out of the Hextech Revolver apply their active effect in the same way.

Automatic empowered auto attack after cooldown.

I mean they certainly could.

The only one I could see having a reasonable argument to keep as an active would be Protobelt because the active is sometimes used for some extra mobility, which isn't always used to target an enemy champion.

I suppose GLP-800 is also sometimes used to assist with waveclear

Gunblade has a lot of single-target burst, helps with chasing, and makes it a viable alternative to botrk as far as utility.

True, .. but that doesn't have anything to do with my point.

Why is it an Active?

I mean, it isn't a bad thing that it is an Active, but it is the closer of the three to the Passive from Hextech Revolver.

If it just stayed a Passive it would basically be the same as Statikk Shiv but would activate based on a timed cooldown instead of with mobility, and would only trigger on enemy champions opposed to ... well, anything lol. You're never really going to want to use it on anything other than enemy champions, but you may not want to use it at certain times. That is really the only benefit of it being an Active is that you can chose to not use it in some instances.

Because it's pretty damn hard to use a single target passive for chasing down a single opponent

and if it were passive it may as well be AP deadman's plate

Not exactly, but even then, what would be wrong with that?

It would suck. Gunblade needs to be an active to fill the niche it exists in- with the stats it has, it's mostly good on people who do a fair amount of auto attacking while having AP scaling. Generally it's also best on people who have short dashes or who're just too slow to get into fights.

I have a completely different concern here now though: why's revolver proc thunderlord's? Or more importantly, why doesn't item 2015 ?
