Suggestion: A way to counter bot lane doing a lvl 1 camp

Give the jungle camps a countdown on their patience bar depletion. So if a jungler (with smite) isn't in range of the camp as its being damaged, the timer will go off. Once the timer reaches 0, the camp's patience meter will drop til it hits 0, causing the camp to reset. And you could make this temporary to only occur in the first 1:30 minutes of the game. Riot doesn't have to buff/nerf anything. Thoughts?

Some background information: A good number of higher elo players (including junglers like Meteos - theres a reddit post on this) says that letting bot lane do the lvl 1 jungle camp is a toxic mechanic. If one bot side doesn't do the camp, then they fall behind compared to the other. In terms of the jungler, junglers either get boned for not having a decent leash and/or they're forced to pick in a very small champion pool of junglers who can clear decently without a leash or with a crappy leash.

Why? Why stop botlane from doing lvl 1 camp?

because it screws over the jungler/botlane. If one side doesn't do the camp, then they fall behind. Maybe the jungler starts top side, gets a leash from the top laner, and the bot lane does the bottom camp, which will respawn by the time the jungler comes to it.

And your point about the enemy bot lane has absolutely no ground. The point of this game is to win, and if your method to do that is to get ahead of the enemy laner by any means necessary, then there is, and should be, nothing stopping you

right.....so let me get this. Junglers get leashes from bot lane because they're obviously alot better than what ur top lane is going to give u. In the case where a jungler decides to start bot side, the jungler that picked a champion with worse clear (j4) has to get the leash from their bot lane to prevent the enemy from counterjungling their buff whereas the enemy team has a nunu jungle who obviously can solo a camp at lvl 1 at bot side and attempt to counter jungle. There is ALOT more to jungling than simply forcing your jungle to start top side for a jungle.

Like i mentioned, the jungler pool gets much smaller because of this. You get a worse leash from your top lane in addition to playing a jungler with a worse first jungle clear. The enemy jungler who picked a jungler that can solo a camp at lvl 1 is also to counterjungle your botside buff.

If you've never played in high elo where the level 1 camp is common, then I'm sorry to say that you don't have the same understanding that I do.

That's a hell of a lot of qualifications for why it's a bad idea. Let me check to make sure I got them all:

Jungler one for some reason can't start top Jungler two is for some reason soloing Jungler one is someone with a weak clear Jungler two is someone who can solo a camp (which, by the way, any actual jungler should be able to do)

And you're right, I've never played in high elo. But if you have, then I think you would understand why it works. I mean, look at the LCS: best players in the game, and they don't have a problem with it, even on non-tank junglers.

When I play jungle, I start on the blue side, no matter what. The junglers I have either have enough damage to not need red, or need blue in order to get a first clear. Half of the time, that means that my leash is from the top laner, and I don't have any problems from that happening.

And your problem with taking camps level 1 is what exactly?
