This Xerath scripting event gave me an idea to stop cheaters before they cause any damage.

A multi-man vote in-game to report a cheater in-game. It will require a majority vote from both teams in order to end the game and automatically send reports to Riot about the reported cheater. If the system/Rioter detects any abnormal events from that player from the logs, they dish out punishment. Nobody gains or loses LP.

Now, a thought that crossed my mind was what if the enemy team decided not to report the hacking and try their luck at free LP?

The answer is simple: people who refuse to report obvious hacking when they see it will also be punished for condoning cheating and thus cheating themselves. You can report them after the game for that and they will be investigated and punished accordingly. This will dissuade people from making unethical decisions and as a result put in a system to prevent scripters and hackers from doing real damage.

Just a little idea I had.

My problem with this is that it's not always obvious. I mean, yes, the Xerath bug is obvious, but they aren't all like that.

That's why I don't like such harsh punishments all around- I worry too much about people that might potentially be completely innocent being punished.

Only affirmed cases will ban. Otherwise it won't trigger much.

or if the problem continues and makes itself well known maybe as a company they could, I don't know DISABLE RANKED QUES AND THAT CHAMP, as to stop all of this from becoming a bigger problem

I'm talking about preventing things like this from happening to begin with.

I got called a hacker and a cheater because I went blitz mid and enemies raged at each other and then the lb mid said I was "hacking her movements" I got raged at by everyone for nothing. everyone is hacking on the internet during every game that they die in

That's why they check the logs, my friend.

This would be alright if the LoL community wasnt so toxic. I already know the team that he's on isn't going to vote for a free win. Since they're not duo'd with them, they wont be punished anyway
