I feel like you really fucked up the ranking system. For some reason I get Diamond players in my games now even though I am Silver. (Bronze for this season.) I know my friends who are Gold and up are getting placed into ranks lower than Silver 4 even with 10/10 placement winning. And so they go into games with bronze and silver and completely rek. WTF Riot....

ThePartyLeader1 votesThere could be a couple reasons 1 they were boosted and trashed there mmr after season ended. 2 they bombed placements and soft reset put them at silver mmr 3 they purposefully trashed there mmr in preseason so they have a lower mmr to start with.
Either way season resets basically take that huge spread of mmr that ranked has and compresses 90+% of players into silver so that is how things will be for a few more weeks at least.
