Lux's ult is ridiculously op with the CD reset, I mean 50% CD refund is stupid AS FUCK to give a champ with a burst ultimate, I mean if it was like an ult that had 90 second CD with full CDR I'd have no problems then but it isn't it has a stupid short cooldown for such a powerful ult.
Now if you think it's balanced explain how so, because this ult is game breaking like this.
Fairyfleur4 votesIt isn't "such a powerful ult". Lux's ult is thin, has a cast time, and does very little damage to tanks. If she had a Orianna ult on a reset this would be a problem, but you shouldn't be getting hit by it unless you are snared, which is slow-moving as well.

It isn't "such a powerful ult". Lux's ult is thin, has a cast time, and does very little damage to tanks. If she had a Orianna ult on a reset this would be a problem, but you shouldn't be getting hit by it unless you are snared, which is slow-moving as well.
With Shen, Morg and Twitch (taunt, snare and slow respectively) there's no way to avoid her ult.

The OP isn't talking about an outright nerf, just a simple revert. She was fine the way she was. Granting her more CDR when she already builds max cdr making her ult CDR less than 30 seconds cooldown at max level was stupid and riot's reasoning was even dumber. They're better ways to buff a champ, and giving a champ who builds around CDR more CDR on her strongest ability makes very little sense simply to just give her more oomph in higher elo plays. Next thing you know they'll be giving Karthus a 10% CDR to his ult for every kill he gets just so he sees more higher elo play as well.

That snare is thin and slow, and the slow is also, a skillshot.
as a person who PLAYS .. her Q and W are defintely skillshots.... and her Q and her R can be fairly easily dodged
but her "E" calling a skillshot is kind of stretching the definition a tad bit much.. the ONLY way an opponent can get out of your E if you cast it correctly is to use a dash or 
(unless he has like 500 move speed and your casting at max range)... i mean.. IMO point and click auto attacks are harder to land than Lux's E XD
this thread isn't about her E, and her E is fine (for other reasons)
but saying her ulti needs a nerf is simply not true... i dont think it ever needed the BUFF.. but i dont think it needs a nerf either..
of course i play her as support.. so i rarely ever get the reset.. so maybe i could gather some more accurate data on the matter by playing her mid.. but i still dont think it is an issue... as she NEEDS her utlimate to really get a kill on anyone. it's part of her basic combo
Fairyfleur1 votesYou're right, it isn't too much of a skillshot, but it can be dodged at max range. Along with flash and blinks. Late game if you're trying to poke someone down they can usually move out of the e range before it hits them with tier to boots and/or cloud drake. But yes, she doesn't really need the ult change to be reverted, After using your main combo on someone in a fight you couldn't really do much after that besides an occasional snare or E.
