Strange interaction into Ezrael E

So this will most likely be downvoted to hell because it involves Evelynn, but when i e (or q) into ezrael right before he jumps, the animation goes off, it sometimes goes on cd, but the damage simply doesn't follow him.

This is a game changing interaction and very well can get me killed, i havent really noticed it to this extent on other champs.

Does this happen for everyone?

**edit it only went on cd 1 time without applying damage, so thats potentially not accurate, or an expected result.

But going through the animation noise, and seeing the animation, it should connect.

I have had gp q's tag me in nexus after a back even lol

Q doesn't follow, its possible to dodge it actually.

E should still do damage. dunno what's going on there

yeah it wasnt at all, happened all 3 times i opened on him.

which is a MAJOR momentum shift, if i get that e off its a simple w q and he is dead.

Arcane Shift is a weird ability. What I will say is that in regards o displacement abilities, so long as Ezreals can start the E animation prior to the ability (like Blitz hook or Thresh stun) actually connecting with his hit box, while the hook will still count as I hit, Ezreal will also get his Arcane Shift to go through, meaning he doesn't get pulled. It's a weird ability and can lead to some really weird interactions. As such, I can totally believe that you have also had some weird interactions with it as Evelynn (any champ with a targeted ability can make thing go a little hairy when arcane shift is involved).

hmm i guess it would be a massive nerf to him if it all started following him and would tank his survability, but idk. it can feel so obnoxious at times.
