Trying to decide between top/jg or top/mid and refine champion pool

So there isn't a tips and tricks section anymore so I'm guessing gameplay is where to seek general advice. I played Heimerdinger mid/top mostly to gold this last season, and toward the end I started to play more jungle. W/ the new season supposedly bringing the dual role team builder select to ranked I'm trying to decide between maining jg/top, or top/mid, and then to refine a champion pool for the role. I like jungle a lot and used to main it when I was first learning the game, but there is less overlap in what the roles do/how to play them between jungle and top than there is between top and mid. Also in top/mid I could probably pick all champions that do both roles to play for a champion pool (ie heimer/morg/vlad/etc), where as in jungle some of my favorite champs don't lane well so I'd need a larger total champion pool I think. Any advice appreciated (lower mechanics champ suggestions for roles appreciated too).
