People need to re-think what it means to be high elo
Gold and above = relative "high" elo: top 20-25 percent of players
Diamond 1 and above = fringe elo: less than 1 percent
Gold and above = relative "high" elo: top 20-25 percent of players
Diamond 1 and above = fringe elo: less than 1 percent
to be fair, high elo is > 50% of players, and thats being ranked at all.
or if you want just include ranked players, its about silver 3, silver 4 region.
but i consider high elo to be > 7 cs per min, never feeding (> 0-2 in lane), everyone has a pink on the map(even the adc), and when someone says group everyone goes there or at least 1 or 2 people ping danger saying no bad idea.
but that doesn't happen until high plat rating.
high gold are reasonable players, unfortunately they still struggle with team comp and working with others or some 1 mechanic thats holding them back. might even be ping and connectivity or just number of games played.
but unfortunately even in high gold where i currently am players still make ridiculous mistakes that belong in bronze and im just left wondering how they ever made it this far on the ladder.
i consider myself a monster on xerath, high damage done, great KDA, great CS, take towers etc, but every time i touch him i get hard dived on / flashed for while my team leaves me out to dry leaving themselves in a 4v5 with no mid laner. and im just like, well good luck guys, hope you can win it without me.
