So I've played support every time I rolled support today (Went jung/supp, got supp 5/6 queues so far, someone dodged while I was jungle).

I lose every game (except one game where the enemy team remade) but man are they fun losses.

Thing about supports that I hate more than anything is their terrible base MS. God, move so slow unless you pay mana! But MF's Strut passive makes it so easy to run up, throw an E and get 3 spellthief procs, and then run back. You can easily escape ganks and position yourself for a good ult when you don't have to worry about dying. Getting on support feels really good too, the armor shred is a kind of offensive utility that you don't get to see much of from support itemization.

This feels a lot more interesting than while having the same level of Spellthief ease. Support is finally fun again.

MF was picked for a very specific reason and is not good as a support unless you're actually fulfilling those needs when picking her.

^what he said you shouldnt really play MF support without Ashe or Varus as your ADC the point is to pick someone off from a range and keep them in the MF ult

Yeah, I said I lost every game so far (Just won my first game where I went 0/5 in lane but still got carried).

It's not about the champ pick being good. It's about it being fun.

I do! 15 extra MS on a 325 champ gives you 340...not much better. Meanwhile MF has like 400 with her W

you dont get to complain about support champs being slower than a champ that specifically has a movement bonus.

If you're gonna make those sorts of comparisons, then compare speed to janna/lulu/karma when they have THEIR movement bonuses on.

edit: oh and sona too. Hey look at that.. almost all REAL supports, have movement bonuses! WHo'da thunk?

I said they get speed boosts by using mana. I would rather have a high base MS at all times so that I'm not so punished for backing and missing a few waves of XP, I can harass and dodge harass easier, etc.

Sona's base MS was nerfed specifically to make her more vulnerable to getting retaliated against when she goes up to poke.
