@Meddler - Why doesn't Ekko's Ult break channels?

So, I've played quite a bit of Ekko, but sadly never really noticed until yesterday, that his Ult doesn't break channels... Including Fiddle's drain, nocturne's tether, or LB's chain... I was just wondering if there was any particular reason for this? I mean, his Ult is supposed to go back 4 seconds prior, and the channeled abilities weren't on him 4 seconds prior.

The channeled abilities weren't on him 4 seconds prior, but he only rewinds his time, not everyone else's. So Fiddlesticks may not have been present doing Drain 4 seconds ago, but he is now, and he doesn't care that Ekko hit reset-load last save. Resetti remembers all. https://31.media.tumblr.com/b90cb6ab9bfae79ec228e089a947da8a/tumblr_inline_n0o0jv5uEW1rjw2mu.png

It does if you teleport far enough away.

it's probably coded as a blink, like flash, and that doesn't break channels. which may not make sense as a lore thing, but it makes sense of terms of gameplay. these abilities would all be completely negated by mobility champions.
