Nerfing Akalis W is the only way to properly balance her.

Ill accept her Q spam and passive range, I think it's pretty brain dead and free but you can play around it. What I cant accept is upon playing around said free harass, shes able to use her 'get outta jail free card' which restores her energy, while granting movement, while buying her time to recharge her energy, WHILE MAKING HER IMMUNE TO AUTOS/TARGETED SPELLS, all the while ALSO having the option to E away if that alone isnt enough WHICH ALSO ENABLES HER TO GO BACK IN ONCE HER ENERGY IS RESTORED!

Take away her W movement, she doesnt need it, reduce the duration, she already gets energy from it and it's duration allows her to hide and get more, it makes the concept of energy completely redundant as energy is meant to LIMIT spamming, yet her kit is designed to supersede that idea entirely.

I understand this champion has been nerfed into the ground already, but other than nerfing her W so shes not invincible under turrets (LOL THANK GOD THATS GONE) Riot hasn't really touched her W despite it being the core ability. Her W is the tether that allows her to utilize her abilities in a way that makes her untouchable, because it in itself relieves the components that energy dependent champs have to play around (Energy recharge/CDR).

Of the 5 energy champs in League there is only 1 that can buy time anywhere she stands for an extended duration, all 4 others must outplay while remaining vulnerable (Shen can disable autos but is still vulnerable to targeted spells and is visible).

Is it a coincidence the only energy champion who has this power is also heavily debated as one of the strongest champs period? Maybe, but the remainder of her kit isnt too bad, it's only when in conjunction with her W does her kit really go off the rails.

Maybe I'm salty, washed up, idk, but the correlation here is too strong for me to ignore.
