Hey does anyone else stumble across runes when they are last pick?

I've come across a few times where ill be mid lane last pick, and the enemy team and jungler or something will be two picks and when they pick i have to pick my champ and do my runes for less than 30 seconds each time.

Maybe im just trying to much but i struggle to do them in time when last pick.

I try to stall out my choice so I can use that time for runes, in case I end up picking something I had not planned for. But yes, I have started games as last pick with a bad runepage because the last second save didn't register.

Because the new client is spaghetti code that locks in that hasty last minute rune page pick about 75% of the time
