(Rant) Just a thought, but...

I think one of the many reasons I'm not having much fun with League right now, besides the snowbally state of the game, is that the most uninteractive champs are what's strong right now.

Most of the ADC class are pretty straight forward and uninteractive to play against. There's not much room to outplay ranged auto attacks. It's kill or be killed with them.

Then we have aftershock supports chunking adcs while being way too hard to punish while doing so.

Mid lane we have Malzahar and any duskblade abuser, but at least with the duskblade users, you basically have until they finish said item. Most assassins are interactive and outplayable, until they finish duskblade. Then all counterplay is removed the second they auto you.

In the jungle, we gotta deal with duskblade Kha oneshotting us from stealth, going back into stealth, the blowing us up again if we manage to survive the first time. Then there's Udyr and Shyvana out farming and outleveling you, and just right clicking you till you die if they ever see you.

Lastly, we have top lane, the cesspool of tanks who do more damage than carries early game, while also having more survivability and cc. At least bruiser lanes were mostly skill matchups. Now every non tank is taking Kleptocancer to be useful. There's also champs like Pantheon and Teemo, which never were interactive to begin with. It's come down to "sit back and wait for ganks," but all the ganks are going bot, since that's what matters.

That also reminds me. They're planning on buffing Yi, Tryndamere, and Jinx, to add to the list of soon to be strong uninteractive champions.

Over time, it's less about player skill and more about who you pick, and honestly, it can only be fun for so long.

What kind of champs would I rather be strong? Honestly, I don't know really. Off the top of my head, I'm okay with Varus being strong if it's not his on hit "right click till it dies" build, but instead his skill shot build BEFORE lethality became cancer. I'm okay with Ezreal being strong because he's a safe pick that actually takes skill to pull off, not because he's oppressive and instantly gets more gold and free sustain just by hitting Q. I'm okay with Tristana being good, as long as it's through scaling. Actual scaling. Not hitting 2.5-3 items at 20 minutes and being considered late game, but actually stalling out through her supposed weak early game. That's just the ADCs. I'm kinda okay with Zoe, just because she has to hit skillshots, but she's kind of oppressive.

Most of the meta champs right now are strong because they're downright oppressive, and it's not fun to play against. I want the player behind the champ to matter more than the champ itself. Play to win over Pick to win. That's just my opinion.

Idk about assassins man. Yes when you get that duskblade you CAN kill someone you find out. However it just gets harder and harder... Kha'Zix, Kayn, and Talon are my fav assassins.
