I just build 
and I outscale, my lane opponent needs to stomp me to be stronger in midgame but I have avoided dying by playing like a bitch. And those 2 items mean I can stay in super saiyan mode a good amount of time. I've been taking scaling cdr quints and scaling ap glyphs for ultimate scaling.

Mr Rico Taco1 votesYeah hes "broken" , easy to put some cc , but that build and champ only works to reach gold ...from plat to challenger he s weak in early game and players usually know how to bully him easily because he doesnt have movement abilties ...like a double stun in lane-jungle , for example renekton and elise, thats a secure kill, and people camp and put a tent ,beer and cigar and freeze the lane ...so what can u do vs those kind of things if u dont have a safe form to farm or a good AA damage to secure the cs and farm without using ur Q, thats the problem with swain....he is weak in early game, plus right now there are a lot of items with grievous wounds something to fuck ur spellvamp and if not they can always take ignite instead to a tp... plus that "broken build" only works if ur enemy is dumb and doesnt build mr, build swain with liandrys will help u a lot.

I do build Liandries on him every game unless it ends early. But I want catalyst regen and I don't want to leave out a cost effiecent item like that.
