Why did Shaco lose damage, but Eve gets to keep her burst?

Lane wards work on Shaco. He has to be near the lane before he goes into stealth. Eve doesn't. Eve wanders into lanes without control wards, which you are limited to 1.

Why is it okay for you to justify your ~~witch~~ clown hunt with "A champ shouldn't be able to 100-0 straight out of stealth" but not fix Eves burst?

It was fine for her little ring of camoflague when it was introduced, but since then was implimented, instantly closing the gap and providing her even more burst.

I seriously think it is more of a grudge thing than an actual balance issue.

she doesnt have aoe, she has.. wierd.. line.. thingie. and its pathetically weak now compared to how it used to be.

What she DOESNT have, is free "dont hit me hit this throwaway box thing" tanking. or hard cc. both of which shaco has.

Ifyou walk into a stealhed evelyn.. you can still probably get out.

in contrast, if you walk into a set up shaco... you're dead. There is no counterplay other than having already bought QSS.

So, a GOOD shaco can still have more impact than evelyn. he deserves nerf.

Shaco is soooooooooo much more annoying than Eve. I REALLY hate that guy.

It could just be that I play Shaco so I know what to look for, but I am always paranoid of Eve, rarely scared of Shaco.

Eve has to get pretty close in order to actually do her burst. Her stealth breaks at a range higher than her abilities, which means enemies can see her and react to the gank to escape. The Q's damage is mediocre/eats mana like a boss and she has to be super spam happy in order to even deal decent damage. E does good damage, but she needs to be right next to the enemy to use it.

Shaco's stealth, although a bit more limited than Eve for roaming, doesn't break when near champions unless he uses his E. This means they have no time to react, giving Shaco players the upper hand.

Also, Shaco's stealth can be used as a blink. Eve's stealth cannot.

Shaco also have hard CC in form of his JitB or with his ult dropping 3 more after imploding. Eve's CC is tied to her ult, giving her a shield that doesn't really protect her unless she is fed...the slow is pretty good though, but blocked behind a huge cooldown wall. Shaco's E also slow.
